I put Byredo’s Gypsy Water on my Christmas list every year. An old beauty colleague used to spritz it every day, and I fell hopelessly in love with it. It’s unlike any other fragrance I’ve ever smelt. It’s deep and musky yet sexy and feminine. The pine needles remind me of holidays spent camping and hiking and the incense and sandalwood take me back to long, hazy summer nights with friends. Buuut I can’t afford it, so I beg my mum for it every year (love you, mum). It’s the perfect perfume.
