Spring Nail Colours
It may be cold outside but you can never be too prepared for spring-time talons. We've scoured the catwalks, analysed the trends and tried out the shades to bring you the hottest colours of the season...

Tess Giberson sent her models down the runway with stark white manis. If, however, you feel white is a little too out-there until you have your summer tan, try Deborah Lippmann's Misty Morning - it's the perfect shade to bridge the seasonal gap.
Grey was seen at Julien Macdonald and silver featured on the nails of the Antipodium models. If you wear dark plums and blacks during winter and you're not quite ready to let go of a heavier shade for spring, we say settle for a gunmetal grey such as Revlon's Ace Of Spades.
Seventies was a running theme during SS15 and blue nails at Honor firmly put the colour on the map. Bio Sculpture Gel's Happy Hippie Collection is a great way to nail both the trends. Try Bohemian Beauty for a true cornflower blue - v. boho.

Jessica's SHHH! is nothing to be quiet about. This opaque nude has a mocha undertone which makes a statement but channels the minimalist look. Seen at Dolce & Gabbana, Laura Biagiotti and Derek Lam - if you want conditioned nails (that make your fingers look endless) look no further than this lil' pot.
Zac Posen's models will give you nail-envy instantly. Repping a bright, blood red - the fashion house proved that crimson is the classiest colour, whatever the season. If you try Nailberry's Rouge, you'll find it hard not to wear red all-year-round.
Creamy shades were everywhere during fashion week. Nanette Lepore's models wore a green-tinted-white and Rebecca Minkoff dared to be different with pastel nail art. We love Ciaté's Sweetpea for the warmer months.
A darker blue is more of a curve-ball colour for when the flowers start to bloom but denim was one of the hottest fabrics of SS15 and it made a smooth transition onto countless nail beds. Seen at the likes of Burberry, Stella McCartney and Gucci - we'll be recreating the look with Tom Ford's lacquer Indigo Night.
Giles, Chanel and Chloe were all about the pink blush this season and Essie's Time For Me Time has exactly the right idea. It's understated, but layered up it's pretty-as-a-peach.
Poppy nail art was a huge trend on the SS15 runways. Illamasqua's new spring range has the pastel pop you desire when the sun's out. We love this milky lilac Jo'mina and if you want to pair it with something for nail art, it looks dreamy with Purity and Lament.
