Beauty Bay has restocked its sell-out, affordable skincare range and everyone is going mad for it
Veteran beauty sleuths will already know that Beauty Bay is the ultimate destination for the beauty obsessed. From the latest K-Beauty buys to the very best in French pharmacy skincare, the website boasts over 7,000 products from brands like The Ordinary, Jeffree Star Cosmetics, Aesop and Mario Badescu - with new launches every week driven by crazy customer demand.
With that, we predicted it to be only a matter of time before the beauty Mecca would unveil its own range of products. And we were right! Back in January, Skincare by Beauty Bay was launched: a flexible and purse-friendly skincare range designed for real skin. The only catch? It sold out faster than anyone could've expected, so unless you were super quick off the mark, getting your hands on it wasn't easy.

But today's your lucky day! The Skincare by Beauty Bay line has officially been restocked, so you can get your hands on all manner of skin-perfecting wonder products once again. What's more, they've dropped two brand new products for the relaunch: the SkinHit Nourishing Oil and the Make It Rain Face Mist. Before you fill your virtual basket with all the good stuff, let's remind ourselves why it's so good...
Skin Fixer Clay Mask, £7.50, Beauty Bay
The packaging and marketing of the brand is reminiscent of Glossier, whilst the non bullsh** approach to skincare reminds us of The Ordinary (with price points to match).
Acid Trip Exfoliating Toner, £6.75, Beauty Bay
Inspired, developed and tested by the brand's team of chemists and skincare obsessives, the new range is designed to suit the lifestyle, needs, and routines of everyday men and women.
“We knew that we wanted to develop easy to understand formulations that offer targeted solutions to match our customers’ needs, wants and personal routines. A key priority for us was to develop bespoke formulations that are specifically designed around the key active ingredients, which are used across the range at effective levels," said one of the Cosmetic Scientists behind the brand.
It flew off the shelves in the US, and now Brits are going mad for it.

There's a jelly cleanser for £6.50, hardworking treatments like a clay mask for breakouts, £7.50, and an acid toner for £6.75, serums and blemish patches.
Here's what we love about this brand and why we predict major things for it...
Ummm... that packaging is the most shelfie-friendly we've seen since Glossier.
The experts have balanced the high performance actives with soothing and moisturising ingredients, making it ideal for sensitive skin.
They've also chosen lightweight, non-comedogenic oils that won't clog pores, which is a game-changer for anyone who suffers with acne.
The range focusses on key ingredients that can be mixed and matched to create custom solutions for specific needs, from acne and dryness to ageing skin, making it ideal for literally everyone.
It's vegan and cruelty-free. Tick, tick!
The products are packed with prebiotics, which feeds the “good” bacteria which supports the skin’s barrier to balance and protect against harmful bacteria.
The range is also jam-packed with skincare's hero ingredient, hyaluronic acid, which attracts moisture to skin, draws it in, and prevents it from escaping. Hello, juicy skin.
There's a gentle blend of AHAs: the chemical exfoliants which dissolve the upper layer of dead skin cells to brighten and decongest skin.
Super Jelly Cleansing Gel, £6.50, Beauty Bay
Here's what happened when our Beauty Assistant tried the range...
You are probably familiar with BeautyBay as the one-stop-shopping destination for all of the hottest beauty drops, or a platform where you can find useful and reliable reviews for the products on your skin care wishlist. Either way, Beauty Bay has been the middle man for what seems like forever, but recently they announced the launch of their own skincare brand and as an avid user of the site, I couldn’t be happier.
As the company has already acquired my trust through their A* customer service, I expected no less from their debut brand. With a total of eleven products in the range, I have selected three and put them to the test to see if years of e-commerce have qualified the brand to curate skincare as good as the products they sell...
Super Jelly Cleansing Gel
Every once in a while, I find it imperative to switch out any foaming products with a low-foam, cream or gel cleanser as over use of surfactants will naturally dry out my skin. This product came just in time as the non-foaming, prebiotic formula was just what my skin needed. Although I did oil cleanse beforehand so I cannot completely comment on its make-up removing abilities, it did a pretty fantastic job at leaving my faced cleansed, refreshed and supple. I would describe the texture as milky, smooth and very lightweight.
SkinHit Correcting Serum
Marketed as a concentrated, exfoliating serum that is designed to target texture concerns and pigmentation, this serum does hold some hefty claims. However, a hefty dose of glycolic acid, known for its drastic improvements with pores and uneven skin, assured me that this was the product for me. I applied this as the next step in my skin routine and immediately felt the intensity of the product. Not a burning sensation, but a slight tingle that quickly subsided some moments later. I noticed (and felt) the immediate smoothing effects and after a weeks worth of use, my most recent blemishes have reduced and my skin appears brighter. I will note that that people with sensitive skin should only need a couple of drops, mixed into a moisturiser to reduce the intensity.
SkinHit Clarifying Serum
As retinol has been a huge hit for the longest time, I was relatively excited to finally try a product with bakuchiol, an apparent replacement for people who find retinol just a little too much for their skin. Even better, oat flour is the fifth product listed in the ingredients and a personal favourite of mine to calm my dry and sensitive skin. I left a good seven day gap after using the correcting serum before trying this to give my skin time to recuperate. As my hyper-pigmentation has presumably plummeted through 80% of the layers of my skin, I usually don’t expect any drastic results for that, but what I did notice was that the very small closed comedones on my cheeks and chin had lessened. I also didn’t experience the tight sensation I usually do with active ingredients.
With each product in the range under £10, you literally can’t go wrong. I would recommend Beauty Bay’s skincare range for anyone with sensitive, problematic skin looking to simplify their routine.
