13 key Scandi street style fashion trends that will be huge once we start wearing real clothes again
So you know your London from your Paris, your Milan from your New York, but if you thought that that's as far as your fashion week knowledge needs to stretch then you might - and we mean this in the kindest way - be living a smidge in the past.
What were once, and in some respects still are, the four major fashion capitals have been given some serious competition in recent years thanks to the Scandi set.
Sweden, Denmark and Norway each host their own sartorial showcases via their capital cities, with Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm fashion weeks hosting some of the industry's most exciting brands as they introduce their vision for the season ahead.

If London is all about out-of-the-box creativity, Paris about the grandeur of heritage brands, Milan about elaborate extravagance and New York about a more minimal aesthetic, then Scandinavian fashion weeks - Copenhagen in particular, which is currently the biggest - is all about fresh, wearable pieces often full of feminine whimsy.
With the likes of Ganni, Cecilie Bahnsen, Baum und Pferdgarten, By Malene Birger, Munthe, ATP Atelier, Rotate Birger Christensen, Stine Goya, By TiMO, Michael Olestad and Gestuz showcasing over the three cities, those with an interest in fashion - and fleshing out their wardrobes - would be wise to keep a keen eye.
Scandinavian fashion weeks also have an incredibly keen eye on sustainability, with Copenhagen widely regarded as the world's conscious fashion capital.

Earlier this year, Copenhagen welcomed a roster of chic attendees decked out in heavenly outfits as they battled sub-zero temperatures. Thankfully the snow held off this year.
