Not only is the rose the jewel of our gardens it is now fast becoming one of the most popular ingredients in beauty products. Why? “Rose is a universally-friendly ingredient that pretty much every skin type can use,” says facialist Nichola Joss. “Known mostly for its anti-ageing qualities, the rose is also great for hydrating and soothing".
While as children we made potions of rainwater and rose petals, now “it takes 7716 pounds of roses to create just 2.2 pounds of rose oil” explain Fresh Skincare founders Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg. Which explains why it's such a beautiful scent. Here are our favourites.
