We're here to talk about Rihanna's head-to-toe chavtastic Burberry look
Burberry's spring summer 2018 show was a win for nostalgia: the brand's heritage, camel-toned checks were a huge feature on the runway intermixed with pastel waterproofs, Fair Isle knits and crystal drop earrings.
Not one to tackle a trend tentatively, Rihanna stepped out in New York wearing a head-to-toe look made up of the brand's brilliantly nostalgic print, one that gained some awkward chavvy connotations in its early 2000s heyday.
It was FULL commitment to the cause. Wearing the Vintage Check Plastic Coat with the matching Vintage Check Baseball Cap and a pair of the brand's Argyle Knitted Wool Socks with clear heels (socks and heels TOTALLY ok now, fyi), Rihanna showed the rest of the world how to wear the formerly chavtastic print.
In the interest of not giving us a migraine just looking at her, Rihanna teamed her coat and accessories with a simple yet sexy LDB. Nicely done.
