Erdem Moralioglu has toned down his ladylike leanings - but only a bit, mind you. The master of dainty girly prints and silky silhouettes offers up off-season moxi in the form of jumpers and retro-style bell skirts.

If you believed pyjama separates had attended their last red-carpet slumber party (giving way to 90s, and neon, and pencil skirts - and, well, clothes meant to see the light of day)you were a bit premature if Armani has his say.

Surprisingly (or not, if you're not comprised of the measurements of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley) high-waisted jersey pants are not the easiest things to wear. Proceed with caution.

Proving less really is more - on the catwalk and at the till - Calvin Klein offers up sleek lines with minimal fixings.
And if she hasn't already worn this, Carey Mulligan probably already has her order in.

Monochrome is here to stay, says Chanel. And what Karl decrees goes. Super-sized wide leg white trousers might cause a catwalk-inspired conniption, but if you've got the figure, embrace it.

Yes, Alexander Wang is still doing black... And white at Balenciaga. For now, his ability to mold monochrome fabric into sartorial sculptures is about all we have to go on for his early run at the esteemed fashion house.
Acne
This Stockholm label is still the coolest - and best dressed - kid on the block. The go-between seasonal offering didn't foil Acne's effortless styling. Case in point: A deconstructed chambray denim coat worn over a silk gown.
Givenchy
Designed by Riccardo Tisci, Givenchy's new line-up is giving Burberry a run for its cotton sateen with this floral-lapelled mac.

Word is still out on the dress-with-trousers look - this takes layering to a new extreme - BUT we think we just found Kim Kardashian's next foray into punk florals.

Black is the new... Well, at the very least it's not going anywhere. London's wunderkind, Anderson is always mixing up some androgynous recipe, and for womens Pre collections this resulted in a loose, tasty concoction of smooth silhouettes.

Despite any initial bias, perforated skirts aren't synonymous with trashy flashy fashion. MJ hits all the right notes with nautical stripes and ribbed knits.

This is what you should wear to the wedding (as the bride) and dress your girls in (as the maids). We'll let you decide if your dream dress is a maxi or an embroidered mini...

This collection was made for Kate Middleton. This is so galloping-in-a-meadow, and frankly, we don't know anyone else who could so appropriately embrace this princess movement.

Henry Holland... Still not designing for wallflowers, ever.
We've seen a whole heap of dropwaists since the onslaught that was Gatsby, but these geo-prints leave the 20s in the dust.
