Welcome to the GLAMOUR Beauty Power List Awards 2020, celebrating the best-in-class beauty products, the brands who are embracing diversity and the inspirational beauty pros worth your follow.
The nominees were selected by the GLAMOUR beauty team and a panel of experts, each one of whom has a wealth of experience and expertise within the beauty industry. Makeup artist visionary Val Garland and celebrity makeup artist Naoko Scintu lent a helping hand in deciding the finest complexion and colour products, hair stylists Charlotte Mensah, Larry King, Josh Wood and Patrick Wilson offered their hair care knowledge to whittle down the best in show, and skin specialists Dr Ewoma Ukeleghe and Dija Ayodele – founder of the Black Skin Directory – helped decipher the best skincare solutions available to buy. Plus, we welcomed a host of in-the-know dermatologists, facialists, manicurists and our favourite beauty influencers including Cher Webb, Jamie Genevieve and Bambi Does Beauty among our panel.
Each nomination on the shortlist has already been personally recommended and approved by one of our expert panelists, but it was down to our audience to decide the overall winners. And now, after months of anticipation and hundreds of thousands of votes, the results are finally in.
