If you had asked me a few months ago whether I would be leaving the safety and comfort of my home to seek out the latest beauty finds, I would have replied with a resounding 'no'. However, the seemingly endless weeks of being cooped up inside has left me with a longing for life as it once was - a life of impromptu meals out, drinks with friends and, of course, popping into town to peruse shop shelves, leafing through beauty product labels and lapping up the unique atmosphere of the British high street.
As shops tentatively open their doors to the public this week, I find myself musing over the skincare solutions, the fragrance finds and the makeup essentials I've been waiting to make in person, as well as the beauty destinations I can't wait to visit for their uplifting shopping experiences...

Nothing boosts my mood or my confidence like applying a false tan - there's just something about a new golden glow that makes me feel happier and healthier.
