Louis Vuitton - This was the first ever Louis Vuitton collection to do away with the famed LV monogram and apparently boasted the smallest sequins ever made.

Louis Vuitton - I am in love with every single piece from this show.

Louis Vuitton - We’ve had stunning model-filled carousels and actual, functioning steam trains roll down the catwalk, so the fact is, I’m always already excited before I even get into the Louis Vuitton show space. This season we were greeted with four escalators descending onto a yellow, chequerboard catwalk – the famous Vuitton Damier pattern that was to be the star of this stunning collection.

Louis Vuitton - The most exquisitely simple 60s sheaths in yellow, chocolate, black, white and gorgeous green (which has emerged as a key spring 2013 colour).

Louis Vuitton -The silhouettes, the colours, the 60s coiffures. After the sumptuous flamboyance of the A/W steamtrain show, this was a refreshing, minimalist jolt. In short, it was perfection.

Alexander McQueen -
Bees were the inspiration for the Alexander McQueen show this season. Variations of honeycomb-pattern fabrics were beautifully crafted into sculptured jackets, trousers and skirts. Circular hats, inspired by bee keepers, were worn with every look.

Alexander McQueen -
It’s hard to choose my favourite looks as the whole collection was breath-taking. I loved the sharp sculptured jackets, trousers and skirts that started the show but the dresses were incredible.

Alexander McQueen -
Colours were honey, nude, pale yellow and black. Each look accentuated the waist with corsets or thick resin belts.

Chloe -
I love the Chloe ethos of relaxed glamour, as does the rest of the world because this year it celebrates its 60th anniversary of girlie gorgeousness with an exhibition in Paris!

Chloe - Layering cropped tees with sheer vests and flippy sleeves on dresses and tops that had just the right amount of girly.

Chloe - My favourite look was the sheer white tee covered in appliqués flowers and then teamed with an easy pair of shorts.

- Sculpted neck-ties, in various colours, added a pop of colour and bounced playfully as the models walked the runway.

- The new designer at Christian Dior, Raf Simons, showed a series of looks inspired by Dior's iconic Bar silhouette. The effect was to create a minimal, but soft silhouette: super-leggy with feminine curves.

- The show progressed into a series of shimmering looks. Pleated, iridescent layers gave a futuristic feel to suiting and short, shiny, pastel frocks felt like chic sweeties anchored with the tiniest black tailored shorts.

Valentino -
Valentino's Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli showed a collection of what they do best: feminine and desirable dresses. Dresses had sheer panels that showed a centimetre of skin beneath, as well as gorgeous bib-front dresses and tea dresses. Colours were elegant nude, black and white with flashes of red.

Valentino - Think snakeskin panels on shirt dresses and a clear plastic trench oozing edge.
