A customisable sheet mask 3D-printer is coming and it's going to change the skincare game forever
Neutrogena have already impressed with their digital beauty offerings, ranging from an acne-treating LED face mask to their skin analysis smartphone camera attachment Skin360.
And now at this years Consumer Electronics Show, CES, the skincare brand has just unveiled its latest venture in smart beauty - and it's so major, we are all losing our minds.
Enter MaskiD, a 3D printer that prints customisable sheet masks. See, we told you it's major.
The new device works in conjunction with Skin360, which uses 8 LED lights and a x30 magnifying lens to assess pores, fine lines and moisture levels, to tailor-make a formula using ingredients like Vitamin C and Hyaluronic acid. In fact, the device can even 'print' different ingredients in different areas of the sheet mask - music to everyone with combination skin's ears.
And there'll be no more slipping and sliding when it comes to actually wearing your sheet mask, either. The 3D-printer works to a selfie of your face to produce a sheet mask that's guaranteed to fit the contours and dimensions of your face.
While MaskiD won't be available until later in the year, you can bet that we'll be counting down every day until that glorious moment arrives.
