The body cream
It’s all in the name with this one. As oats are a must have for people with dry and atopic skin, eczema and psoriasis sufferers can largely benefit from Dream Cream as the nourishing and luxurious formula literally glides across the skin with no drag and instantly soothed inflamed skin. It’s marketed as a body lotion but I do apply this to my face from time to time when my skin is in dire need of a pick-me-up.
The nourishing conditioner
American Cream Conditioner, £9, Lush
This is one of Lush’s throwback products and a cult favourite for a reason. The heavenly scent of vanilla, in combination with the moisturising abilities of honey leaves hair not only insanely moisturised by smelling sweet and fruity all day long. Simply rake it through your strands and rinse to experience all of its goodness.
Face and body mask
Now, you’d think I’d be familiar with Lush product names being rather self-explanatory but this mask definitely took me back when I first tried it. I initially used it during a very active breakout and I could literally feel the mint clarifying my pores – as soon as I put it on. After a few minutes, the tingling sensation subsided and I was left with a clean and refreshed face. This is the perfect detox for your skin.
The facial cleanser
Ultrabland Facial Cleanser, £9, Lush
This ultra nourishing cleanser is in fact, very bland, and sometimes that is exactly what your skin needs, especially for those damaged moisture barriers! I have previously mentioned that foam cleansers should be used in moderation and hydrating, non-foaming cleansers are always a helpful alternative. This heals, moisturises, protects and if used correctly, can even remove makeup. To top it all off, it smells amazing!
The bedtime body lotion
Sleepy I love the purple hue of this lotion to replicate the signature ingredient, lavender. The sleep inducing aroma is its star quality and anxiety or insomnia sufferers may find that this kicks your bedtime routine up a notch where you need it most. The sleepy body lotion is honestly the best way to relax and indulge, all in one pot!
The shampoo bar
As with many of Lush’s products, this shampoo bar looked rather odd. I wasn’t too sure what it was when I first came across it after my first use, I was hooked. It lathers up fairly quickly and immediately provides this soothing effect on your scalp (due to the nettle and peppermint infusion). I love anything with essential oils as they stimulate the and balance the scalp.
