Jennifer Aniston: Life In Pictures

Jennifer Aniston has been on our screens for 25 years, yes 25 years.
Contrary to what you may think (ok, what we thought), her career didn't start on Friends. She first entered television with the short-lived Molloy, and then Ferris Bueller and the photographic evidence is every bit as brilliant as you'd hope (there are lots of bouffant dos and stonewashed denim).
Jennifer became a "friend" in 1994, where she cultivated a reputation that's long stuck with her. Aniston plays girl's girls - the sort we'd like to get readily merry with, and also have a cry on when work and love isn't going how we'd like. She also has a collection of LBDs that would be handy to raid.
Look back at Aniston's life in pictures so far...
Rex FeaturesBack in 1990 in the Ferris Bueller television series, Aniston played Bueller’s spoiled sister, Jeannie – a part that was originally meant for Jennifer Grey of Dirty Dancing fame.

Rex FeaturesIn 1992, she starred in Fox sketch show series The Edge. The series wasn’t a success and only aired for one season.
Rex FeaturesIn 1994, she landed the role of Rachel in Friends and appeared in the show up until it ended in 2004. Producers of the series initially wanted her to audition for the part of Monica, but Courtney Cox was thought to be better suited to the character and Aniston ended up as Rachel instead.
Rex FeaturesHer first starring film role came in Picture Perfect in 1997, alongside Kevin Bacon. Although not many critics thought much of the film, Aniston's performance was more warmly received.

Rex FeaturesAlthough they look the picture of romance here, the couple split five years later, after Pitt met his now wife Angelina Jolie on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith.
