Here's how to make the super easy whipped coffee that's all over your Instagram feed right now
If you've scrolled aimlessly through Instagram at any point over the last week or so - and, let's be honest, there's not a whole lot else to do right now - we'll hazard a guess that you've spied at least one Dalgona coffee on your feed.
Whether you actively acknowledged it or not, this seemingly regular beverage has littered just about every influencer's Instagram account during self-isolation, and there's one very good reason for that. It's b***** delicious.

Now hear us out. We're rarely seduced by fleeting Instagram trends. Sure we've had our fair share of laughs at TikToks over the last few weeks, and we were somewhat tempted to rustle up a banana bread having seen eight in a row on our friends' Insta stories, but there have been very few fads of late that we can see making their way into our daily routine post quarantine. You know, when we actually have a commute to fit into our schedule. And seeing friends. And work trips. And family trips.
Exhausted just thinking about it?
You, my friend, need a coffee. And while you're at it, why not make that a whipped, frothy, iced coffee that will thrill your Instagram feed just as much as it will your tastebuds...
HOW TO MAKE A DALGONA (WHIPPED) COFFEE
3 x tbsp instant coffee
2 x tbsp sugar
3 x tbsp boiling water
1 x mixing bowl
1 x electric mixer
6 x ice cubes
400ml milk

1. Add the instant coffee, sugar and hot water to a medium-sized mixing bowl...
2. Using an electric hand-held mixer, whip the mixture for about approx. 4 minutes until it is light brown and silky. Trust the process, this will happen. (If you're brave/strong feel free to use a manual whisk, but be prepared to work for it)...
3. Separate the mix into two and (elegantly) dollop half on top of each pre-prepared two-thirds-full glass of milk and ice. (You could also spoon it over warm milk for a hot drink)...
4. Mix and enjoy, while basking in your culinary brilliance. Oh, and take a picture for Instagram - duh.
You're welcome.
