Holly Willoughby on learning to love the skin she's in and why two glasses of wine in the bath is her idea of self-care
Admit it, you've got a girl crush on Holly Willoughby. And with her envy-inducing daily sartorial choices, down-to-earth demeanour and penchant for a wild night on the town (hello, 2016's NTAs!), we don't blame you.
Holly is the star of Diet Coke’s Because I Can campaign so GLAMOUR UK was treated to an exclusive night in with Holly and her stylist, Angie Smith, to grill her on her best style secrets, beauty hacks and ultimate wellness routine.
Feeling empowered runs deeper than my outfit choices
Whether she's nailing high-end or championing high street heroes, Holly Willoughby's style is the gift that keeps on giving.

Luckily for her fans, Holly shares a daily style snap with outfit tags on her Instagram page, which more often than not sends high street sales through the roof.
Until two years ago, Holly admits she played safe with her fashion choices, but since working with her stylist, Angie, she's pushed herself out of her comfort zone and dresses in a way that makes her feel confident and empowered - and it's all thanks to a pair of black trousers.
"I could never wear trousers; I'd always stick to dresses but then one day, Angie turned up at my house with a single pair of black trousers and they were a game-changer. There is no doubt that a great fitting pair of trousers can make you feel good about yourself."
While Holly admits that her sartorial choices leave her feeling empowered, it actually runs much deeper than that.
"Styling and clothing only take you so far," she said. "It's the smoke and mirrors. Everything needs to be in place beneath that. You've got to have good people around you, you've got to feel good about yourself."
So what does make her feel good about herself?
"Self-care (and wine!) make me feel good"
Diet Coke's new campaign is all about claiming time back for yourself - something Holly is passionate about (and with all those early morning TV appearances, fashion collaborations and family commitments, who can blame her?).
"Living life and being unapologetic and giving back time to yourself is my idea of self-care. Life is a little stressful so it's nice to just have those moment for yourself and so you should! It's really important to do that and not feel guilty about it for your sanity."
And Holly's idea of the perfect night in sounds pretty damn dreamy to us. "My perfect night in involves a glass of wine in the bath, lighting candles, listening to desert island discs, then putting on a big fluffy robe, having another glass of wine and watching Killing Eve in bed."
The beauty secrets Holly swears by
She may get up at the crack of dawn to present on This Morning but Holly always looks perennially polished, so what's her secret?
Contrary to popular belief, Holly maintains she isn't actually very well-versed when it comes to beauty.
"I'm not brilliant with any of this but I am starting to look after my skin now because I feel like I'm getting older and I have to just grow up," she said.
"By that I mean I have started taking my makeup off at night but for years I didn't. I thought I was invincible and that I could go out at night and still look radiant and then you get older and realise that's probably not the case. For me, drinking lots of water and getting a good night's sleep, plus a good suncream (I love Heliocare SPF), is more important than a moisturiser."

She has, however, started having facials courtesy of skincare queen and Meghan Markle's go-to expert, Sarah Chapman, but overall, Holly is relaxing her efforts.
Explaining her low-key new look, she said: "I've chopped my hair off because I fancied a change. As I've been getting older, I've been paring everything back and with age, you get more confident in your face and who you are so I've realised I don't want to put the lashes on and the hair in anymore; that's the benefit and joy of ageing.
"You realise: 'This is me and it's got me this far and I'm happy with it and there's more important things in life' and you don't worry about that sort of stuff anymore."
Hear hear, Holly.
