"Golden phase" skin is the latest Korean beauty trend - here's how to get it

The latest and greatest trend to fling its way over from the Far East? Golden phase skin.

K-beauty brand, Saturday Skin, coined the term and claim their products help you achieve the glowing look.

According to makers of the cosmetics firm, which is sold on Cult Beauty, the "golden phase" refers to your skin’s best stage, which lasts about a week.

The brand's researchers explain that this unique phase falls when women are ovulating. During this time, skin is apparently brighter and fresher due to a boost in the natural regeneration phase. Who knew?!

On the back of the research, they developed a range of products to extend this phase and give skin a full-time glow.

The brand's products, which cost around £40 a pop, contain Cha-7 es complex, which activates the skin’s own naturally occurring regeneration process to extend this "golden phase" continuously. Clever!
