Kris Jenner's gold rim glasses are the dining trend that's about to take off
Gold rim glasses are far from new in the world of dining and crockery, but that's not to say they can't have their moment in the sun once more.
Last year's spring interiors obsession had shoppers' eyes on short stem goblets and textured wine glasses. This year, the world of wining and dining has picked up a new fascination, courtesy of the one and only Kris Jenner.
Naturally, the Kardashian-Jenner mothership has a whole room dedicated to her glassware and, amongst a myriad of polished silver coffee pots and hammered gold water glasses, Kris flaunts an impressive cabinet of gold-rimmed gin and Champagne flutes.
It's not the first time she's influenced our buying habits, and it likely won't be the last, but if there's one thing we can take from this exclusive Poosh reveal, it's that crisp, clear glassware has got company in 2022.
Looking at the collections brands have got to offer, the gold in question isn't strictly restricted to the rim of the glass and retailers like Oliver Bonas are championing gold foil detailing on their glassware. Take this £34.50 Joli saucer set, for instance; tying together texture and a splash of light-reflecting colour, it's a perfect pick to bring a statement to your table set up and, on a more dull weather day, a touch of warmth, too.

Whatever your price bracket, high-street and high-end brands are stocking a myriad of gold rim glassware. Anthropologie's Waterfall Coupe at £14 is available to purchase individually for those looking to invest in a handful of statement pieces rather than a complete glassware overhaul. How do you clean gold rim glasses?
Hand washing is generally recommended for delicate glassware to avoid clouding the glass' clarity in the dishwater. To that end, it's also advised that you use a mild soap detergent like Ecover Zero and avoid harsh scrubs and scourers; a soft or cellulose sponge should suffice. Drying the glasses as soon as possible after washing should help to minimise the chances of the gold peeling away from the surface.
