These intimate portraits show a trans teen and his partner getting ready for Pride

Lucien is a transgender boy who has been transitioning since he was 13; he turned 18 on June 10, the day of the Pride parade in New Orleans. This body of work is an intimate portrait of Lucien on the day of his birthday as he, his lover Fin, and their friend Kura all get ready for Pride. The project is also about Lucien and Fin's relationship (they recently moved in together) and Lucien's art.
