Fashion Week is known for its slick running, but every now and then we're stunned (and entertained sorry not sorry) by an unexpected shocking moment.
Who remembers when Anna Wintour was attacked with pie, when the benched fell at Balenciaga or when poor Bella Hadid took a runway tumble?
Ahead of the season, we take a look down memory lane 24 most shocking Fashion Week moments of all time...

You'd be forgiven into thinking Bella Hadid is superhuman, but the seasoned model proved even she can make mistakes as she took a tumble on the Michael Kors spring/summer 17 catwalk. She somehow managed to make even face-planting look good.

It's not that we ever forgot the ingenuity of Zoolander, it's just that we were reminded of it in a big way in February 2015 when Derek Zoolander and Hansel (aka Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson) crashed the Valentino autumn/winter show and hit the catwalk. Blue Steele was stronger than ever before and that strut outshone all others.

Penises on the catwalk were never something we imagined seeing at fashion week, but that was exactly the case Rick Owen's autumn/winter 2015 show when male models entered the runway with their genitalia on show. We won't be forgetting that one in a hurry.

Guests including Anna Wintour, Carine Roitfield and Mario Testino all fell to the floor in what was the first seating malfunction a fashion week has ever witnessed. A standing ovation ensued, luckily not just out of choice.
