Australia's favourite doughnut brand is coming to the UK 🙌
It is, they inform us, always a good time for doughnut. Now, this might be the received wisdom of, ahem, Doughnut Time, Australia’s chicest doughnut success story – but who are we to argue? Especially when they look this good.
Big Down Under, these little circles of delight are winging their way to London. The first store slated to open on Shaftesbury Avenue in October. And rejoice! For they are justly renowned for their idiosyncratic creations: think Legally Blonde, Oreana Grande (designed to be consumed by four people – or a solitary very hungry one)), the (vegan) Liam Hemsworthy and Flakey AF. Alongside vegan and gluten-free options, there are the virgin glazed numbers for traditionalists.

Expect customised, terribly British creations for the London launch - anyone for Veruca Salt, Cornelius Fudge or Love Actually (topped with mini Jammy Dodgers, people. Repeat: mini Jammy Dodger). They’ll also be lashing of Instagrammable quirk from the London store, with their signature mint green branding and chic retro interiors, so prepare to blinded by the flash of a zillion ‘grammers getting the best angle on their doughnut order. (What, you’re mean you plan to just go in andbeat one? How terribly novel.) There’s even a Doughnut Time Academy upstairs where you can learn to glaze your own creations. Now that’s the kind of education we can get on board with.

In the meantime, if Doughnut Time requires any willing taste testers, you know wher we are.
