December: We’ve been waiting for Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom to announce their split since the summer but when news of their divorce finally came, it didn’t make it any less painful. The couple, who married after a whirlwind four weeks in 2009, cited “irreconcilable differences” in their marriage papers – probably something to do with Lamar’s bizarre rap video.

December: We thought Brahim Zaibat might be the toyboy to tame Madonna but not so. The couple, who had three years together, apparently decided to call it a day because of work commitments; Madonna’s based in New York and Brahim has recently found success on the French version of Dancing With The Stars.

October: It was long rumoured, but now it's official: Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom have parted ways, their rep has confirmed.“In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months," they told E! News. “After six years together, they have recently decided to formalise their separation.” The couple first got together in 2007. They have one son, Flynn, who was born in 2011.

October: Crocodile Dundee stars Paul and Linda Hogan have split after 23 years together. The pair, who won our hearts (and those of each other) on the film about an Australian bushman and a feisty American reporter, filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences”. Their on-set romance prompted one of the messiest divorces in Hollywood history as he was still married to his first wife Noelene Edwards at the time. The couple’s rep said that the split was amicable, although Linda is seeking spousal support for the pair’s 15-year-old son, Chance.

October: Kylie Minogue and Andres Velencoso called time on their five-year relationship after friends claimed they didn't spend enough time together. "There was no fallout, they're still friends, just not lovers anymore," a source added.
