Kate Moss has been pretty tame in recent years, but in June 2015 the supermodel was removed from an EasyJet flight. Police escorted Kate off a plane after she became ‘disruptive’ on a flight home from Bodrum, Turkey where she had been staying at a detox centre. It's been reported that she branded the pilot "A Basic Bitch". For those of you who don't know, A Basic Bitch is an American slang term used to describe an unoriginal woman – typically a fan of mainstream music or products.

The thread was between Sony Pictures' co-chairperson Amy Pascal (pictured here with Ange, only two days after the emails were revealed) and movie producer Scott Rudin and relate to the upcoming Steve Jobs biopic, which Scott Rudin was producing, prompting him to refer to Angelina as "a minimally talented spoiled brat".

Jennifer Lawrence and many other celebs' phones were targeted by hackers after an iCloud leak, leading to personal, nude photos being leaked online to an online bulletin board and quickly going viral. J-Law's rep called it a "flagrant violation of privacy" and added that "the authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence". And Jennifer isn't the only star to have been hacked - a list of the stars allegedly affected has appeared online, and contains more than 100 names, including Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, Kaley Cuoco, Rihanna, Lea Michele and Selena Gomez.

Surely the biggest celeb scandal of 2012 was when Twilight star Kristen Stewart admitted to having an affair with her Snow White And The Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders. In a statement released shortly after pictures of her Sanders were published, Stewart said: "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected... This momentary indiscretion has jeopardised the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry." While Rob and Kristen were able to get back on track, Sanders and ex-wife Liberty Ross have since divorced.

With only a week to go until Paris Fashion Week, the fashion world was stunned when Dior designer John Galliano was arrested for allegedly making anti-Semitic remarks to a couple in Paris. Dior was suspended from his role, and then later fired. Actress Natalie Portman, the face of Dior’s Miss Dior Cherie fragrance, confirmed “as an individual who is proud to be Jewish” she would no longer be associated with the designer. Though he denied the claims Galliano apologised saying, “I unreservedly apologise for my behaviour in causing any offence.” A video of the designer making further offensive remarks has since surfaced.

Ryan Giggs’ reputation as a family man was dealt a blow following “that” Twitter incident and his sister-in-law Natasha Giggs revealing that the pair had had an eight-year affair. So far Giggs’ wife, Stacey, seems to be standing by her man.

Louis Walsh was rocked by claims that he indecently assaulted a man in a nightclub. "The allegations made against me are wholly false and with no foundation,” said the X Factor judge. "I will happily cooperate fully with the police and am 100 per cent confident that after a full investigation I will be fully exonerated."

Ashley Cole wasn’t the only one. John Terry lost his England team captaincy – but not wife Toni Poole – when he admitted to sleeping with a teammate’s ex-girlfriend in early 2010. Pregnant Abbey Clancy stuck by Peter Crouch amid cheating allegations, as did Coleen with Wayne Rooney when a woman claimed she had an affair with the footballer while Coleen was pregnant.

In 2008 Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand made a series of lewd prank calls to Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs regarding his granddaughter, Georgina Baillie. After the calls aired on Russell’s BBC 2 radio show, the Daily Mail criticised the programme resulting in a flood of complaints, a 12-week suspension for Jonathan and resignation for Russell, who described the incident as “fun”.

In 2006 Prince William’s concerns that his phone was being hacked were passed to the police, resulting in News Of The World editor Andy Coulson resigning and joining the Conservatives as communications director. In 2009 The Guardian newspaper brought out fresh phone tapping allegations from several stars including Sienna Miller, Kelly Hoppen, Max Clifford, all of whom claimed they had been hacked. The new scandal led Coulson to resign from his role and an investigation continues.

Winona Ryder was arrested on shoplifting charges in Beverly Hills in 2001. She was accused of stealing $5,500 worth of designer clothes and accessories from department store Saks Fifth Avenue. With eight prosecutors hired for the trial, The Guardian newspaper dubbed it a “show trial” and Winona was convicted, serving probation until 2005.

The X Factor has never been short of controversy but even MPs got involved in 2010 after viewers complained that the series seven opener was using voice manipulation technology. In one shot, contestant Gamu sounded noticeably different in preview tapes than she did in her audition singing Walking On Sunshine. ITV bosses confessed they used voice-manipulation to edit auditions, but never in the live show. Several performers, including X Factor judge Cheryl Cole, were also accused of miming during the celeb performances.

The Devil Wears Prada actress split with him just before his arrest.

Former Mickey Mouse Club star Christina Aguilera shocked fans and even her contemporaries when she was arrested for public intoxication in 2011. Fellow pop princess Pink Tweeted, “Out of Myself, Britney and Christina – didn’t everyone think I was gonna be the troublemaker? LOOK MA!!! No CUFFS!!!” The singer was with her new boyfriend Matthew Rutler, who was arrested for drunk driving. The arrest came just months after the singer separated from husband Jordan Bratman and weeks after she flubbed performances at the Super Bowl and the Grammys.

Just a few weeks after her career hit a high with a Best Actress Academy Award in March 2010, Sandra Bullock was hit by the curse of the Oscars as it emerged that her husband Jesse James had been having an affair with a tattoo artist. Less than a week after his death, Daily Mail columnist Jan Moir penned an article questioning how much his homosexual lifestyle resulted in his untimely death. Several celebrities and users of Facebook and Twitter accused the journalist of being homophobic, which resulted in a media storm. Stephen’s death was later determined to be from a pulmonary oedema – a condition caused by an undiagnosed heart condition.

Outspoken talk show host Joan Rivers is never short of a celeb scandal or three - and she's reportedly angered Kristen Stewart. Rivers claims the Twilight actress is suing her over an extract from her book, Diary of a Mad Diva, which implies that Stewart owes her career to “being able to juggle a director's balls”.
“I am now being sued by Kristen Stewart,” Rivers said. “She obviously didn't read our disclaimer, which says it's a comedy book. I can't wait to get her into court because I'm gonna get a puppet and I want her to show me on the puppet where she thinks I claim she touched her director. I am looking forward to it.”
