If you’re happy to be on call 24/7, confident about organising an extravagant A-List wedding at the drop of a hat but also don’t mind doing their laundry, the life of a celebrity assistant might just be the career for you.
Sure, there are some pretty amazing perks – all-expenses paid trips to the Maldives, a ton of new Instagram followers, not to mention the chance to access the inner sanctum of the rich and famous. But to say this is a job we're not sure we'd be able to hack is a bit of an understatement. Especially if Kim K is your boss. Or Beyoncé.

Entering the world of fame and celebrity at a young age is never easy. In fact it can take a huge toll on you, as Justin Bieber has openly admitted throughout his career, hence why you need to be surrounded by trustworthy people. Justin's assistant Santi has been with him for years, much like the rest of his team, and the two have a pretty solid friendship, with Justin sometimes shouting him out on his social media like this one time where he was spotted bringing out a sandwich he had made for Santi. Now that the pop star is married, Santi works for both Bieber and his wife, Hailey Bieber.

Managing the affairs of the Kardashian-Jenner clan is not an easy task but Alexa seems to have it nailed. Listed as the Director Of Operations at Kardashian Jenner communications, Alexa has worked with multiple members of the family over the years but is Khloe’s executive assistant. The two are super close, with Alexa being Khloe’s right-hand woman throughout everything - including all the Tristan drama when she was pregnant with True. It's safe to say Khloe trusts Alexa with her life.

There aren't many stars who would drop everything to attend their assistant's wedding and Blake Lively not only did that but did it two days after she'd given birth to her second daughter, Ines. But Jessica is more than just a PA to Blake. Writing on Instagram, the Gossip Girlstar wrote: "Most beautiful bride on the planet. And the best friend I could ask for. @jessicarose617 thank you for being EVERYTHING. I love you." The pair even chose the same designer – Marchesa – to create both of their wedding gowns. Sweet.

What did your boss get you for your birthday? A card? A bunch of flowers if you're lucky? Well, if your boss just happens to be Cheryl Cole, you might get a holiday in the Maldives. The singer treated her PA Lily England and her boyfriend to the exotic trip to celebrate her turning 30, and then turned up to Lily's birthday party with her ex-boyfriend Liam Payne in tow. The bonuses don't end there – Lily was one of only four people who attended Cheryl's top-secret wedding to Frenchman Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in 2014.

It's a little-known fact that Malia Obama was briefly Halle Berry's PA on the set of the TV show, Extant, in 2014. Though the then-president's daughter had no qualms about getting stuck in, Halle revealed to other people she found it difficult asking her to do things. “Everybody couldn't really see her as a PA, although she tried and tried to be one,” the Oscar winner admitted. “We just couldn't really see her as one, but to her credit, she tried very hard to be one... She was down to do whatever a PA is asked to do... I had wild respect for her for that.” Malia went onto also assist Lena Dunham on the set of Girls in 2015, where she was spotted getting coffee for the cast and crew.

Remember when Beyoncé hit headlines for shooing away her assistant as she tried to adjust her neckline in 2015? Well that assistant was none other than Sam Greenberg. Despite what it looked like at the time, Sam is part of Beyoncé’s inner circle and was even mentioned in the credits to Lemonade. She doesn’t have a bad word to say about her boss, gushing in 2015: "It is a cool experience to learn from her and curate my taste along with hers because she is quite the style icon."

Rumour has it that she put an end to those nude heels and has been given the task of sprucing up Prince William's "estate agent" style. Natasha was also the first non-family member to be allowed into the Lindo Wing after Prince George was born and showed her dedication to the royals when she accompanied Kate on a gruelling six-hour trek to a Bhutan monastery – just in case she needed a change of clothes before the photographers descended.

And it seems the reality is as good as the dream. Victoria Villarroel is the lucky lady charged with running Kylie’s affairs and she recently spoke out about her incredible job. “Five years ago, I started working at her mom’s company, Jenner Communications, and I would see Kylie there all the time 'cause it was her mom’s office,” she said. The pair are now inseparable – with Victoria regularly seen partying with the star. Kylie was even involved in distracting her PA so her boyfriend could spring a surprise proposal on her. That said, there are down sides. Victoria admitted: “I'm always open. She'll call me at 2am, I'll answer. I don't really have set hours. It's pretty much whenever duty calls."
