Who knew these stars were celebrity neighbours?

Neighbours, everybody needs good neigbours... And if you are an A-list star you don't want to be living across the road from mere mortals, so it's no surprise that this bunch have all shacked up beside each other.
Whether it's Sam Smith and Boy George, Meryl Streep and Gwyneth Paltrow or Niall Horan and the Kardashians, we're wondering who does the neighbourly thing of lending a cup of sugar or putting out next door's bins...

Jimmy Kimmel and John Krasinski are not only the best of friends, they are also neighbours. The duo live in the same street in LA and even vacation together - they were spotted with their loved ones, Molly McNearney and Emily Blunt, in Hawaii. If that's not enough proof of their bromance, Jimmy and John even have a holiday tradition: pranking each other during the Christmas holidays. Once it even ended up featuring on Kimmel's show. In one episode, John Krasinski and Emily Blunt broke into Jimmy's house and put up holiday lawn ornaments in his living room; Jimmy went on to gift-wrap their whole house (even the doors and windows). Hilarious!

When Kendall Jenner bought the former home of Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, she got with it a famous neighbour.
Speaking on his chat show, Kendall Jenner and Jimmy Kimmel confirmed they were street buddies. "You know it is actually so strange, when I moved in my mom was not happy about me moving into a home by myself," Kendall said. "And I was like, 'No, you know what, it's okay because Jimmy Kimmel lives right across the street. I don't know him but like maybe if anything goes down he'll save my life.'"
But when word of Kendall moving in reached the other neighbours, they were apparently up in arms. "There was this whole thing with emails that went on," Jimmy told the star.
When Jenner asked if the emails were bad, Kimmel responded: "Yeah, bad. I mean before you got there. You caused quite a ruckus. The neighbours seemed to blame me for this development somehow."
PAEllen DeGeneres & Hugh Hefner
Most people worry about noisy neighbours who have endless parties but it didn't seem to bother Ellen DeGeneres when she found her dream home.
The TV presenter and her wife Portia de Rossi didn't care about living next door to Playboy founder Hugh Hefner when they laid eyes on The Brody House in LA.
Designed by Quincy Jones, the 13,511 square foot home has six bedrooms and nine bathrooms as well as a garden with its own waterfall. Let's hope it has double-glazing too in case the Bunnies decide to have loud parties!
PAMiley Cyrus & the Kardashian-Wests
We wonder whether Miley Cyrus will be on hand for babysitting duties after moving into the same street as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's home in the Hidden Hills in LA.
The 22-year-old singer's home has a 10-stall barn and a huge equestrian area, as well as a vineyard and a chicken coop!
The couple, who have a two-year-old daughter, North, and are expecting a son at Christmas, have already splashed out £120,000 on the gym alone in the 3.5 acre pad. There is also a recording studio, £70,000 worth of windows from Milan and a motion-tracked security system.
RexKhloe & Kourtney Kardashian
After splitting with husband Lamar Odom in 2013, Khloe Kardashian snapped up Justin Bieber's old house for £4.5m. She already knew the area well as it was just a few doors down from sis Kourtney Kardashian's pad in Calabasas, California. Koko spent a fortune remodelling it, including fitting a walk-in closet bigger than most people's flats.
PAKatie Holmes, Lance Bass & Nick Jonas
Katie Holmes moved into the plush Chelsea Merchantile Building with her daughter Suri Cruise after leaving Tom Cruise in the summer of 2012. The building was ideal for the actress to avoid the media glare and even had a secret entrance to the Whole Foods on the ground floor so Katie could buy her organic food without stepping outside.
The 21-floor building also offers a doorman, concierge services as well as a 10,000-square-foot landscaped roof deck, fitness centre, valet services and a child’s play room.
No wonder the building attracts plenty of celebrity residents with N*Sync's Lance Bass owning an apartment, and Nick Jonas renting a flat for £14,000 per month earlier this year.
GettyMeryl Streep & Gwyneth Paltrow
Gwyneth Paltrow is officially the best neighbour ever! She lives in the same apartment block as Meryl Streep and let her use her kitchen to cook her Thanksgiving feast even though she wasn't there.
Meryl explained: "My oven didn’t work. Gwyneth has the best oven I have ever seen in my life. So I e-mailed her, and they weren’t there." But despite being away, she allowed the Oscar-winning actress to use her amazing oven so her turkey wasn't ruined. How nice!
GettyAnt McPartlin & Declan Donnelly
Not only do Ant and Dec work together, they also live next door to each other - on the same street in Chiswick, West London. They said they didn't care people think this is "bizarre" because they’d spend a "fortune in cab fares" if they lived further apart. And that's not all - the pair even purchased two villas side by side in a luxury Portuguese golf resort on the Algarve so they can holiday together too.
PAElton John, Brody Jenner, Courteney Cox & Lily Collins
Sierra Towers is clearly the place to live in West Hollywood. Imagine bumping into one of these celebs in the life.
The 32-story building is particularly sought after as it offers protected views of the ocean, mountains and city skyline. West Hollywood now bans buildings higher than 10 stories. It's also around the corner from celeb haunt Soho House, so it's no surprise Joan Collins, Frank Sinatra and Lindsay Lohan have all lived there, while current residents include Elton John, Brody Jenner, Courteney Cox and Lily Collins.
PACristiano Ronaldo & Janet Jackson
He could be the next President of the United States but Donald Trump's real estate is pretty sought after too. The Trump Tower in New York is home to a host of stars including Janet Jackson and newest resident, footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. He recently splashed out £11.8m on a loft apartment in the building; the three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom apartment on 5th Avenue was the inspiration behind Christian Grey's bachelor pad in Fifty Shades of Grey.
RexLiz Hurley & Hugh Grant
Most people can't get far enough away from their exes but Liz Hurley is so keen to maintain her friendship with former beau Hugh Grant that they live beside each other! She says: "We're best friends. He lives next door to me and he's godfather to my son and I'm godmother to one of his children. We've been apart for longer than we were together. We were together for 13 years and then we've been best friends for 15."
GettyNiall Horan, Kardashians & The Osbournes
Could Keeping Up With One Direction be hitting our screens soon? Probably not but Niall Horan might pop up in the background of the reality show after buying a home in Calabasas, California in the same gated community as Kris Jenner's house. He bought it for £1.5m in 2013 after striking up a friendship with the youngest Kardashians, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. Niall's house has a swimming pool and games room but is missing a bar as builders refused to fit one for him because he was just 19 when they bought the place and therefore under the age limit for drinking in the States. As luck would have it another reality TV family, the Osbournes, also live in the celebrity cul-de-sac.
PABoy George & Sam Smith
Sam Smith, 23, has splashed out on a North London flat just metres from The Voice coach's home. Boy George, 53, said he is thrilled to be living near the singer: "He's bought the house next door to me in Hampstead. I saw him there the other day. He's a lovely guy. I met him just before he really blew up, which was a nice thing."
PARobbie Williams & Jimmy Page
There isn't too much gossiping over the gate for these two musicians. It's been neighbours at war since the Take That star bought Michael Winner's home in West London in 2013. Robbie Williams has been caught up in a court battle ever since with the Led Zeppelin guitarist over planning rights. Jimmy claims any building work could damage his Grade I-listed Tower House, which is next door to Robbie's £17.5million Kensington home. Robbie wanted to renovate the 46-bedroom mansion including adding a swimming pool and gym, new air conditioning, minor excavation and the demolition and replacement of the garage.
