Freddie Prinze Jr. knew Sarah Michelle Gellar was the one on their very first date. The former co-stars revealed on a Facebook Live video that Sarah impressed Freddie by eating.
“A lot of girls back then in Hollywood as far as the actresses, they didn’t eat, they ate salad,” he said. “And I had gone on a date with a handful of them; they would never eat what I would eat. You have to have that in common with me if we’re going to get along.”
He continued: “And so Sarah came to dinner with me, and we sat down and she ate everything, including a crab that they let walk across the counter, then kill while it was alive in some oil and said, ‘It’s popcorn, try.’ And she ate it without even blinking, and I was like, ‘Yo, my girl is legit.'”
Right, we might just follow suit, Any excuse to ditch the salad...

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's first date reads like something out of a rom-com. Two people are matched up on a double date with other people but couldn't help noticing a spark with your mate's date? Check. The other two attendees had to sit awkwardly as the chemistry flew back and forth across the table? Yu-huh. They end up getting married and having children? Sure.
Ryan explained the whole thing:
"About a year after Green Lantern had come and gone and we were both single we went on a double date-she was on a date with another guy and I was on a date with another girl."
He recalled: "It was like the most awkward date for the respective parties because we were just like fireworks coming across." Perfection.

Then he took me back to the hotel in his car, which was a piece of [bleep]. … The door was eaten by his dog, it smelled so bad. … It was not cute. And then he leans in for a kiss and I swear to God at the end, I was like, ‘Should I slap him…?’ It was very uncomfortable. I ran away, practically, and I thought, ‘This guy is never going to call me again or talk to me,’ and then he sent flowers the next day with a box of Kleenex (tissues). … That was kind of cute.”
