X FACTOR Exclusive: Each week the presenter talks GLAMOUR through her outfit choices

Week 10: Saturday
That’s it! That’s your lot. X Factor 2013 is no more and what a seven months it’s been. Lovely Sam Bailey deservedly triumphed this weekend, and I fulfilled a huge lifetime dream; I only met BLOODY ELTON JOHN.
Planning my X Factor final outfits was a bit of a conundrum. My stylist Hayley Caine and I didn’t want to go too glamorous, with me having to dart about the arena all night, but being too casual just wouldn’t be befitting of an X Factor final.

Week 10: Saturday
Saturday night we decided on a sheer maroon top with two embroidered roses from Opening Ceremony, and leather studded shorts from Zara. For make-up we wanted to create a glow and a statement lip. We went for full fluffy lashes, groomed brows and an electric red lip with lovely Gemma Wheatcroft mixing MAC Ruby Woo and Morange lipstick. Hair was side-swept waves, held in place with a simple braid and some good old Elnette!

Week 10: Sunday
Sunday was a strapless cross-over number from Zara and beautiful suede black shoes from Daniel (Larizia Boutique). For hair and make-up we went for full-on glamour. Hair was teased into big tousled waves and finished with Paul Mitchell The Shine Finishing Spray... Make-up was bold black glittery eyes, using Chanel Stylo in black stream. Lips were baby pink using Topshop lipstick in Pillow Talk.

Week 10: Sunday
Over the last few months I’ve been so lucky to wear some incredible outfits both on the show and for promo shoots. Burberry, Valentino, Stella McCartney, Mark Jacobs, Tom Ford, Marcus Lupfer, Mary Katrantzou and many others. I feel unbelievably lucky and thankful to everyone who helped turn this ol' bird into a peacock on the weekends. Oh to wake up like that. And thanks GLAMOUR! It’s been fun. Until the next time…

Week 9: Saturday
Hello Glamour. This is penultimate blog; how did that happen? WHERE HAS 2013 GONE?
This week on X Factor was another shocker. No more Rough Copy. Thankfully we had the campest performance of all time from Leona Lewis (amazing) and Michael Buble (swoon) to cheer us up. Barbara Windsor made my life on Xtra too.
Week 9: Saturday
On Saturday I went highstreet-happy and wore a metallic skirt and maroon t-shirt both from Topshop, which I love. Make-up was deep purple smoky eyes using Becca Jewell, with a pink lip-sheen using MAC Partial To Pink. For hair we created a soft natural curl using a large barreled tong and Bumble and Bumble thickening lotion.

Week 9: Sunday
On Sunday, I chose a piece from one of my favourite designers Marc Jacobs, paired with shorts. Shoes from Kurt Geiger.

Week 9: Sunday
Make-up was a 60s Bardot flick using MAC Fluid Line and Urban Decay’s Naked 3 pallet. Hair was also Bardot inspired. Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray gave it a bedhead tousle.
Lisa LinderWeek 8: Saturday
Happy Monday!
The X Factor final is approaching so fast; where are the weeks going? This week we said goodbye to Tamera on the show, but I think in her case the old ‘you haven’t seen the last of me’ cliche just might be true.
Week 8: Saturday
On Saturday I wore a silver metallic blazer from Topshop, with shorts from Missguided. The amazing Spider Ring and leopard ring were from Bill Skinner. Hair was a last minute decision. YES OK, I MIGHT BE IN MY 30s, but sod it, I like pig-tail braids so that’s what what we bloody well did. It felt good. Gemma, my hair and make-up wizard, gave it volume using Osis Dust It powder. Eyes were metallic gunmetal to compliment the jacket using MAC Jet Couture pigment.

Week 8: Sunday
Sunday I went with a psychedelic print dress from Opening Ceremony. I love their clothes. Often structured, which is always my preferred style, and they design interesting prints you won’t see elsewhere. For hair we went with elfin waves and midnight blue deep smoky eyes using Chanel Illusion, D'ombre Luminous eyeshadow and Shu Uemura Glow On Shimmer in orange for contrast on the cheek.

Week 7: Saturday
"Hello Glamour!
I can’t believe how quickly this year’s live shows are going! This weekend felt extra special as Oll’s returned to the show. It felt like being in a time-warp having him around and it was funny to muck around before the show like the old days. I was proud to see him perform on stage too.

Week 7: Saturday
So, fashion...
On Saturday I went with a simple red polo neck under a velvet play suit from the lovely Little White Lies with bracelet from Bill Skinner. For hair the wonderful Gemma Wheatcroft worked it into natural tousled waves using Bumble and Bumble surf spray. Make-up was deep burgundy smoky eyes, using NARS Jezebel Duo eye shadow.
Week 7: Sunday
Sunday’s show was a beautiful black shift dress with lightning bolt detail, again from Little White Lies.

Week 7: Sunday
Hair was a dee-side swept parting with fresh bronze smokey eyes and a shot of hot pink blush using MAC pink swoon.”

Week 6: Saturday
This week’s Xtra Factor made my childhood fangirl all of a flutter, interviewing Jason Donovan (I slept next to Jason for a couple of years...on a pillowcase) and Backstreet Boys all on one day. Fourteen-year-old-me would combust.
It was also Best Of British week on the show, so on Saturday I opted for a jacket by one of my favourite Brit designers Stella McCartney from Larizia Boutique, teamed with leather trousers by Muubaa, a Zara cami and gorgeous peep toe shoes by Tom Ford.
Stylist Hayley Caine: "As it was Best of British week we thought it was quite apt to focus Saturday night's outfit around a beautiful blazer by one of the country's most talented designers, Stella McCartney.”

Week 6: Saturday
I decided to go for a new blunt bob this week, which the lovely Jamie Stevens cut for me. Hair and make up whiz Gemma Wheatcroft styled it straight and sleek.

Week 6: Saturday
For make-up we went for a catwalk cat’s eye using Benefit Magic Ink eyeliner and a MAC morange matte orange lip.

Week 6: Sunday
For Sunday I wore a black jersey dress by Vivetta with embroidered collar. I accessorised with some beautiful rings from Tessa Metcalfe at Wolf and Badger, Pamela Love (available from Oxygen Boutique) and Bill Skinner.

Week 6: Sunday
For hair we went for a classic wave using Bumble And Bumble, swept to the side with a braid. Make-up was a deep smokey eye using Urban Decay’s nude 2 palette and pinky nude lips using Tom Ford nude vanilla.

Week 5: Saturday
"Morning Glamour! Big Band week, and my birthday celebrations at the studio made the shows this week the most fun of the series. And Matt stayed away from the turtle necks for another week. Phew.
On Saturday night I wore a black lace dress from & Other Stories and super high, red stilettos."
Week 5: Saturday
"I love the indomitable Bridget Bardot and she has always been the ultimate icon for me; she inspired the high ponytail (created using Bumble And Bumble for the volume) and the feline flick on the eyes."

Week 5: Saturday
Hayley Caine, Caroline's stylist: "This week we went for a bit of Hollywood Glamour for the dress, as it was big band week on the show."

Week 5: Sunday
"On Sunday I wore a blue polo neck from Topshop with a vintage print skirt from Motel. I love mixing designer, vintage and high street pieces for the show, everything is dependent on being comfortable and practical for live TV."

Week 5: Sunday
"My lovely hair and make up artist Gemma Wheatcroft created a deep swept fringe and smokey eyes using Tom Ford Titanium, with glossy lips by MAC pink lemonade."

Week 4: Saturday
Good morning Glamour! It’s Monday again…
For Saturday night’s show I was inspired by the ‘Disco’ theme of the weekend, so we went for a jumpsuit look using a simple black cami and trousers with shiny red stilettos from Topshop. We added 70s embellishment with a retro glitter belt.
Week 4: Saturday
Make-up was a soft bronze smokey eye with a flick using Becca Jewell Dust and electric red lips.

Week 4: Saturday
For hair we added a 70s bohemian braid.

Week 4: Sunday
On Sunday I wore a gorgeous red and black lace dress by Related (Oxygen boutique.)

Week 4: Sunday
Hair was a loose wave inspired by 70s queen Farrah Fawcett. Make-up was dark cats' eyes using Deeply Dashing from Mac Pressed Pigments and black fluid line eyeliner. We used Chanel Rouge Allure Gloss in Caprice to add a nude pout.
Rex FeaturesWeek 3: Saturday
This week was rather difficult because I managed to hurt my back, and ended up in a brace for most the week (and in rehearsals!) It meant my wardrobe plans had to be reshuffled a little. My stylist and I needed to make some emergency adaptions...
...so, on Saturday I ended up wearing a beautiful maroon jumper with large pailettes from Marcus Lupfer (from Feather Fashion) and a shiny skirt with shocking pink shoes both from Topshop.
Rex FeaturesWeek 3: Sunday
On Sunday night I opted for a burgundy oversized cropped shirt from the amazing Mother of Pearl and a pair of leather shorts and black suede shoes from Topshop. My hair and make up artist Gemma Wheatcroft braided my hair in sections, a look I’m really fond of and enjoy experimenting with!
Hayley Caine, Caroline’s stylist said:
"Caroline and I opted for a sixties vibe this week, with sequins and patent leather which are both bang on trend for Autumn/Winter."

Week 2: Saturday
"Happy Monday Glamour!
This weekend on The X Factor was more hectic than usual, with people being hospitalised (but now on the mend thank goodness!) and things being a little crazy on screen, but that's live TV and why I love it.
I need outfits on the live shows that are easy to move in, and comfortable, but which look great. I've been really lucky this year, working with some lovely designers. Last week I got to wear a Marc Jacobs dress, which was gorgeous.
For this Saturday night I wore a beautiful printed dress by Mary Katrantzou (www.feathersfashion.com.) I loved the combination of colours and fun print. I wore it with a pair of black and white monochrome Topshop high heels and a gold horse ring from Bill Skinner. My gorgeous hair and make-up artist Gemma Wheatcroft and I had fun with a bun hair do! Something I don't usually go for.Caroline's Stylist, Hayley Caine: "Caroline and I chose the design because the silhouette and print placement on the dress is really flattering for her shape, emphasising her tiny waist and it looked fantastic with the set."

Week 2: Sunday
On Sunday night I wore a beautiful dress from Lulu and Co, who I love, complete with a jacquard planet space design on it. It felt like a hint of an homage to Barbarella (but I'd love to wear her space suit one day!)

Week 1
For the first live show of X Factor this year I was lucky enough to be able to wear this gorgeous Marc by Marc Jacobs Tulip print dress. I love structured dresses and this was a pleasure to wear, it's comfortable and looks great.
