Blake Lively gushes about Ryan Reynolds at the People Choice Awards
Blake Lively scooped the Favourite Dramatic Movie Actress award for her role in The Shallows at last night's People Choice Awards and she couldn't help giving her husband, Ryan Reynolds, a shout out in her acceptance speech.
First talking about how her mother taught her never to limit herself and how she seeked inspiration from the Spice Girls for always flying the flag for girl power - she made sure she didn't leave the stage without honouring her "everything".
Talking about Ryan, she finished her speech with: 'Thank you to my husband. He is everything to me." She then joked at the erupting crowd: "You can't have him he's mine!"

Blake Lively is extremely close to her family. The actress has four older siblings (Eric, Lori, Robyn, and Jason – phew!) and revealed that on Christmas Day, they all just stay in bed together. “Somehow we just spend seven hours a day all together just chatting and it’s really nice to have that time, because it's rare that we get together for such a nice chunk of time,” she said. “We never leave the house. Blake’s go-to recipes include sausage and brie puff pastry and rotisserie chicken.

Blake Lively married Ryan Reynolds in a secret wedding in Charleston, South Carolina. The pair released a few select images to Martha Stewart Weddings so we got a glimpse of her big day. We even got a teeny-tiny peek at Blake’s gown – a silk tulle gown Marchesa dress with rose-gold embroidery.

Blake Lively said that her body “shifted and changed” after she was pregnant with her first child.
To get fit for her role in The Shallows Blake hired a personal trainer but admitted the exercise did more for than just help her shed the baby weight she'd gained.
She said: “I worked out with an amazing trainer Don Saladino. He kicked my butt. It was also eight months after having a baby so my body was already completely different than what it normally was. Not just aesthetically but also your muscles are different, your body, everything is just shifted and changed.
She told E! News: “It was really crazy. But it was also nice to have that motivation because I wouldn't have done that. I wouldn't have gotten in that kind of shape.
“It was like training for a marathon, but a marathon is one day. This was six weeks straight, six-day weeks, no lunch breaks, thirteen-hour days, four-foot waves at all times. By the time I was done with the movie...I had muscles that I had never had before.”

Talking about her relationship with Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively told USA Today: "We've both given up projects that we really love because we can't keep our family together. People often think their career is something they have to chase and maintain, but for us, we said, 'Let's always chase and maintain our personal life.'
"This is a career that's like the stock market: You've got to stay hot while you're hot. But your family, that's the real thing that gives you security and success and happiness."
