8 people Beyoncé's waxwork looks like (and it's not Beyoncé)

We're terrified.

Being a waxwork artist must be a tough gig. Like with any craft, the artist must tirelessly fail up until the moment when they finally unveil their finest piece, showcased for the world to see at Madame Tussauds, the Louvre of waxwork artistry.

But for one artist - specifically, the artist behind Beyoncé's freshly unveiled waxwork figure at Madame Tussauds in New York - today was not that day, and that waxwork was not their masterpiece.

When one (apparently hard of sight) fan tweeted that Beyonce's newly unveiled waxwork at Madame Tussauds in New York looked "fierce", Twitter exploded in disagreement.

Yes, this is meant to be Beyonce and quite frankly, we're insulted on her behalf (that's alright Bey, we've got your back). The waxwork looks more like Mariah Carey or say, Louisa Johnson. It certainly doesn't have the likeness of Kylie Jenner's waxwork, unveiled in LA yesterday. And this is all before we get to the issue of it being massively whitewashed. Sigh.

Upon sending the image around the office, comparisons of who the waxwork really looks like flew back - and some of them are uncanny, not to mention LOL...

    We think this selfie-taking waxwork of Kim Kardashian, which has just been unveiled at Madame Tussauds in London, is pretty spot on. Creators took a whopping four months and spent £150,000 in making the figure, and you can really tell. They even dressed Kim in her infamous 2014 bachelorette dress by Balmain. It's all in the details people.

    Channing Tatum struck out with his new waxwork. We have to say that the face on the waxwork is pretty uncanny and eerily similar to Channing's own face. However, we're not convinced about the rest of the figure. We're pretty sure real-life Channing has a more impressive physique than this slim fella.

    Miley Cyrus is known for her risque style choices, so this waxwork of the pop star unveiled at the Hard Rock Cafe in Washington does bear some similarities. However, they haven't quite captured Miley's kooky persona - perhaps her famous tongue should have been on display to seal the deal.

    Madame Tussauds Hollywood has paid tribute to One Direction, in the form of waxworks of each member of the Brit band.
    However, while the poses and clothing do justice to the real-life lads, the figures themselves are just a little too shiny and artificial looking to be mistaken for the real deal. Boo.
