Garance Doré signs a book deal

Fashion blogging royalty Garance Dore has reportedly just signed a book deal. But she's not the first of the blogosphere to translate her online musings into a hard copy.
Ever since The Sartorialist and Facehunter decided to collect their best works into a tome, all kinds of bloggers are getting in on the act. But not all blogs-to-books are created equal; so we've rounded up the best...

Seven years on from launching her blog, French fashion blogger Garance Doré has just inked a book deal with Random House, according to WWD. As yet untitled, we imagine it will be a similar mix of photos, illustrations and opinion pieces as found on Garance’s blog – and we’re sure it will be as popular as her other half, Scott Schuman from The Sartorialist’s two tomes already published by Penguin.

The Man Repeller
You probably already know The Man Repeller, aka Leandra Medine, for her hilariously witty blog, chronicling her love of avant-garde fashion that does what it says on the tin (repels men).
Her book is a more personal look at her sartorial choices over the years, from 'incidents' with harem pants to losing her virginity in ankle socks.
Why should you buy it? We'll let Leandra explain in her own words:
"Because (1) if you already hate me, it will fuel those emotions, thus making you a more passionate individual than you were previously. (2) There are stories about all kinds of weird things like seer sucker Bermuda shorts."
Style Feed
More a fashion blog guide than fashion blog book (we're being creative with the title), uber-blogger Susie Bubble chose the sites featured in Style Feed- so you know every blog featured is a winner.

F*ck! I'm In My Twenties!
A must-read if you've recently graduated or feel like your life is currently resembling the cast of GIRLS/New Girl, F*ck! I'm In My Twenties is Emma Koenig's Tumblr-turned-book of handwritten notes on the turbulent years of your twenties - lack of jobs, money and stable relationships feature heavily.

The Book Of "Unnecessary Quotation Marks"
When quotation marks are over-used - example: the Fresh Brown "eggs" on the book cover - it makes for comedic genius. Sticklers for grammar will love this book, based on one of our all-time favourite blogs.

Suri's Burn Book
If Suri Cruise were friends with Regina George and her plastics, she'd have totally written this Burn Book /blog on all the unstylish toddlers. Question is - would Harper have ousted her as Queen Bee by now?

Sh*t Girls Say
OK, it's not a blog, but this compendium of the best of the hilarious Youtube and Twitter phenomenon Sh*t Girls Say belongs on everyone's bookshelf. Sampler: 'I just love tiny things’…‘I hate the word moist’…‘I’m so pale’…

The Rookie Yearbook
We read recently that Tavi Gevinson is kind of "over" fashion, and has "not much left to say" on fashion after starting her Style Rookie blog as a pre-teen. Worry not, Tavi fans - her online magazine Rookie is still great, and you can read her printed book.

Boo: The Life of the World's Cutest Dog
An oldie you'll probably know already but a goodie - this adorable blog of a Pomeranian pup so cute he almost couldn't be real has made Boo the most influential animal on Facebook (6 million fans and counting. His book is his best bits collected in one tome. Sometimes we look at it when we're feeling a bit low.
