11 fierce drag queens to follow for your daily dose of fabulousness

Ever wondered what it's like to be a drag queen? Or fancy pulling on some tights and auditioning for RuPaul's Drag Race yourself?
Fierce is the word that comes to mind when we see people transform into an entirely new character of their choosing. Some go big with hair and heels, while others are more experimental and quite talented when it comes to special fx makeup.
Here are some of our favourite queens to follow...

Aquaria
As far as drag performers go, Aquaria is one of the biggest, with 1.2 million followers on Instagram. She tours the world, records her own songs and describes herself as 'halfway between Madonna and Lady Gaga'. Oh, and her makeup is out of this world, naturally. Move over, Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
Valentine Addams
We're obsessed with the positive vibes and lavendar brows found on Valentine's feed. You can tell she puts a lot of work into finding the right wig and working on her makeup looks, because each one is so different!
Vanity von Glow
We love Vanity not only for her cabaret talents but for the way she speaks out for the drag community. An advocate for freedom of speech, she appeared on Sky News during Pride to defend drag performers, in particularly Lewis Bailey, who was banned from performing at age 14.
Courtney Act
If you missed Celebrity Big Brother in 2017, then you would've missed so many amazing Courtney Act moments and insights into life as a drag queen, which saw her crowned the winner. Her transformation from Shane to Courtney is truly impressive and you're bound to learn some makeup skills along the way. Plus, Courtney just revealed she'll be a contestant on Dancing With The Stars Australia, so you can expect a sassy shimmy or two.

Cheddar Gorgeous
Cheddar isn't a mere drag queen, she's a 'unicorn, alien and bloody-minded fool'. Her character is forever changing, but the sharp cheekbones are here to stay. Still waiting on that contouring tutorial, Miss Cheddar...
Momo Shade
Starring in New York's Drag Collective, House of Aja, you can expect a lot of backstage action and costume changes from Momo Shade. Plus, she has the best brows both in and out of drag.
Jodie Harsh
Be prepared for big hair and celeb spotting if you follow Jodie's feed. The drag queen DJ works the decks at some pretty A-list parties and counts Kate Moss and Rita Ora as friends.
Tina Burner
Tina not only has one of the best drag names of all time, but one of the best wardrobes. Never one to half-ass a theme, our photo favourites have been Cruella De Vil and Hocus Pocus.

Fagulous
Liza Minelli, Princess Diana, erm...Theresa May. If you've seen Fagulous live, you'll know that there are no shortage of divas about to grace the stage. London's hottest new cabaret drag act is going to blow up - we're calling it.
Lucy Stoole
Who says you can't grow a beard and dress in drag? That's right, no one. We love Lucy!Aaron Carty aka Beyonce Xperience
You might recognise Aaron from Britain's Got Talent where he first revealed his routine with his nan in the crowd. Now he travels all over the UK performing Queen Bee's hits. We've seen him live and he's definitely worth a watch if you get the chance!
