    Will Smith almost scored the role. What we, non-A-listers, don't know, is that Will Smith has quite the reputation in Hollywood for taking creative control over his roles. But of course Quentin Tarantino wouldn't be one to change his views for any actor, not even Will Smith. Will wanted Django to be a clear lead in the drama - in the movie Django and Dr King Schultz share the spotlight - and after Tarantino denied his request, he turned down the role: "Django wasn't the lead, so it was like, I need to be the lead," Will told Entertainment Weekly "The other character was the lead! I was like, 'No, Quentin, please, I need to kill the bad guy!'".

    Beach-babe alert! The 2017 production of Baywatch is on the making, and got everyone (including us) reeling with excitement over the amazing celebrity cast. The 90s original TV show featured the one and only Pamela Anderson in the role of C.J. Parker, and although filling those shoes would certainly not going to be an easy task, Kelly Rohrbach was the chosen one.

    Also up for it, was Nicole Scherzinger. The latest GLAMOUR cover girl told us she had been preparing to play C.J. Parker for months, and could not hide the disappointment once she heard the role went to Kelly:
    "I started this year working out every day, motivated to get my butt in shape because I was determined I was gonna be the new Baywatch girl. I was hell-bent, I'm an ocean angel, I love it".
    Nicole continued: "I was devastated [when she found out Kelly was chosen for it]. What is my year, what is my life, if I'm not in Baywatch?!"

    In a Lenny Letter, Lena Dunham revealed that Amy Schumer auditioned for the role of Shoshanna but didn't get it. She wrote:
    "I first met Amy Schumer almost six years ago when she came in to audition for the role of Shoshanna on Girls".
    She continued: "Everyone in the room was stunned by the detail and skill of her improv, the wild talent radiating off her". Lena said it was clear Amy wasn’t meant to play Shosanna, "But when she left the room, the vibe was very 'Someone give that lady a show, STAT!'".
    A year on, the casters invited Amy back to play the protective best friend of Adam’s new GF. Tbh, we couldn't imagine Amy playing Shoshanna.

    Olivia Wilde could have been in Wolf of Wall Street but she reportedly missed out on the role because she was "too old". Cue shocked faces all round. The 32-year-old went on The Howard Stern Show and was asked if she ever missed out on a part because she was too beautiful.
    "The funniest thing I heard recently was, I heard that I was too sophisticated [for the part]. I thought, 'oh, that sounds nice. I like that feedback. I didn't get the part but I'm a very sophisticated person.'" she continued. "And then I found out later they actually said old."
    Olivia insisted the woman who beat her out for the part did a great job: "I thought she kicked so much ass in that movie." She also had no trouble finding a silver lining about being passed over. "It shows that if you don't get something… it might lead to something else," she said.
    It's not confirmed whether it was Margot's role, but it certainly looks that way as there aren't that many female parts in the movie.

I think Robert is fantastic if you give him the freedom to completely breathe and improvise and change stuff. We tried one of these technologies and it was not compatible. And, after that, we [had a] week that we pretended as if nothing was happening and then we talked and said, 'This is not going to work. This is tough.'"

Thankfully, Henry’s luck is back as he is set to play Superman in the upcoming film, Man Of Steel.
