Scott Fitzgerald. With an estimated budget of $127,000,000, our expectations are unashamedly sky high.

Based on the cult book by Jack Kerouac, On The Road, Sam Riley (Burberry model and general heartthrob du jour) joins forces with Garrett Hedlund, Kristen Stewart and Kirsten Dunst to lift the sardonic humour from the page to the screen. This is set to be one of the coolest, off-beat films to watch in 2012.

When? The two fashion houses will show in the Big Smoke during the autumn/winter 2012 show season in February. We’ll be reporting from the front row, mark our words.
What’s the buzz about? While Alexander McQueen will still be showcasing the main collections in Paris, it will be fabulous to have its diffusion brand - McQ - hit the catwalk for the first time ever in Britannia. Stella McCartney, who usually shows in Paris also, will rejoin the fold of Brits to keep her talent within our shores - to further support her Olympics sportswear collection, perhaps?

What’s the buzz about? The Emmy award-winning creator of Mad Men, Matthew Weiner, is back with the third series of the Jon Hamm-starring TV show, set in the brutal advertising world of 60s America. Expect time to be a-ticking on, as confirmed final series seven will see the story land in the present day. The show is on its fourth straight win of the Best Drama Emmy, so our expectations are understandably sky high for 2012’s next bout of madness.
