Primark’s AW18 collection is actually making us excited for the cold weather
As much as we enjoyed the summer heatwave and hazy evenings spent sipping rosé in pub gardens, we’re so ready for crisp autumn days, a bit of hygge and, of course, snapping up an entirely new wardrobe for AW18.
And there’s one high-street retailer getting us super-excited for the cold weather (which is no mean feat).
Primark has treated us to a sneak peek at its AW18 collection, which is all about poise, positivity and wearing what you like – and we are so here for that.
From teddy fleeces to Clueless-esque tartan suits and must-have puffas, we want, nay NEED, every last piece from this range.
First up on our shopping list of dreams is THE coat of the season (yes, we’re calling it), in the form of this checked number. Tailored to absolute perfection, we’ll be wearing ours over absolutely everything this season, offset by youthful accessories and a football scarf. Football may not have come home, but this Primark look certainly is (and straight into our wardrobe). Did we mention the accessories are To.Die.For?
We are also lusting after the pinafore dress, which we’ll be wearing layered over a retro track top, beneath a statement sports jacket and paired with luxe white trainers.
And, of course, autumn/winter just wouldn’t be autumn/winter without some frivolous faux fur, would it now? Luckily, Primark has you covered via borg-lined coats, retro teddy fleeces and plush flannels. The best part? Every piece in this collection is surprisingly affordable, leaving you more money to spend on marshmallow-topped hot chocolate.
