If you're a fan of fashion collabs (let's be honest, who isn't?) then you're going to want to know about this month's very best.
Launched this week, Whistles x The Longing offers up a 10-piece collection of bikinis, swimsuits, rash vests, scrunchies and towels designed in collaboration with the lifestyle brand founded in 2022 by content creator Lindsey Holland and her business partner Jack Mizon. Known, and loved, for their beautifully crafted towels, it's a brand whose focus has always been on high-quality, long-lasting design, aligning perfectly with Whistles' core values of premium, timeless wardrobe additions.
“Designing this collection with Whistles has been a true career highlight, and we have created something I would want to wear myself every single time I'm in or by the water,” noted Lindsey, who also runs a surf and wellness retreat in Portugal's Algarve.
“The ocean and surfing greatly influenced all the designs, and they're so important to my life and bring me the most joy. We have made something for women to feel good in, that is also practical, and I loved being i the front row throughout the whole process.”

Bursting with well-cut, universally flattering silhouettes and unfussy design details, these are swimwear staples that you'll reach for year after year and will never tire of.
Comprising of a neutral summer colour palette of pale blues, burnt terracotta, off-white and deep chocolate - with minimalist prints introducing an aesthetic accent to a selection of the edit - this collection strikes that perfect balance between feeling super contemporary and yet remaining utterly timeless.
“It's been a natural and enjoyable process collaborating with Lindsey on the Whistles x The Longing collection,” revealed Gemma Hyde, Head of Design at Whistles.
“Simple, considered silhouettes in a beautiful colour palette of earthy tones that remind us of the ocean have been purposely designed with a real focus on comfort and fit this summer. With a natural shared aesthetic and vision, it's been a unique, memorable experience to create such special pieces for the season ahead.”
Priced from £15-99 for individual pieces, the full collection is available to shop online and in selected stores.
