Victoria Beckham presented her New York Fashion Week show yesterday and in doing so presented us with what will probably become next season's It bag.
Introducing the Half Moon bag - a crescent-shaped style which has all the key components of a bag of the season; it's highly Instagrammable; has a distinguishable shape (which will doubtlessly spark a million catwalk copies, although fashion folk will recognise the real deal instantly); and is roomy enough to fit in all your worldly belongings. We're also fans of the name, which sounds a great mix of mystical and unattainable,
The show marked a departure from Beckham's typically strict streamlined silhouettes and was arguably her most adventurous fashion foray to date. Don't get us wrong, it was still polished and well put together - but it was the most laidback collection that we've seen from her so far; all surfer girl vibes and colourful prints. Her picnic print checks are bound to become ubiquitous come next summer.
But for now, start saving for one of those half-moon bags.
