It's a huge day for Tim Peake - he has returned to earth after 186 days being in space. The astronaut says he's looking forward to seeing his family and that it was the best ride ever.
Accompanied by American and Russian crew, Tim arrived in south central Kazakhstan and said he was "truly elated" about being home and the "smell of the earth was so strong". He also said that he couldn't wait to feel rain on his face.
They successfully completed the deorbit burn and are re-entered the atmosphere at a speed 28,800km/h.
