The boys are back! And yes, we mean The Boys. Season 5 of the hit series is now streaming on Prime Video as the show hurtles toward its epic finale.

Based on the comic book series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, The Boys imagines a world where superheroes are not just celebrities or political powerhouses, but sometimes even worshipped like gods. And unlike the wholesome heroes we grew up with, these Supes are deeply flawed — and often terrifyingly corrupt.

Since its 2019 premiere, the series has plunged viewers into a world of chaos, bloodshed, and bloodthirsty satire. This final season promises to be bigger, darker, and more explosive than ever. With the showdown between Supes and humans reaching a boiling point, fans are in for a high-stakes conclusion they’ve been waiting for.

Here’s everything you need to know about when and where to catch new episodes of The Boys.

What is season 5 of The Boys about?

Set not long after the events of The Boys season 4 finale, the new season plunges us into the shocking consequences of martial law, which grants Supers unprecedented and terrifying power. The first episode immediately immerses viewers in Homelander’s (Antony Starr) America, where the erratic, egomaniacal Supe is calling all the shots, and new U.S. President Steven Calhoun (David Edwards) obediently bows to his every whim.

At Homelander's “Freedom Camp,” Hughie Campbell (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), and Frenchie (Tomer Capone) are imprisoned, while Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) has vanished entirely. Annie January/Starlight (Erin Moriarty) is frantically trying to build a resistance to challenge the Supes’ terrifying new world order. So, a lot is happening.

Meanwhile, Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) has the solution: a virus capable of wiping out every Supe on the planet. The catch? It would also guarantee certain death for him and his fellow superpowered members of The Boys. Yikes.

We can't wait to see what the plot of season 5 brings!
