The Body Shop advent calendars have already landed. I know, I know… Christmas may seem way too far off to start your planning now, especially given that it's technically still summer. Yep, that's right: The Body Shop has already revealed not one, not two, but three (yep, three!) non-chocolate advent calendars – all packed with great skincare, haircare and bath goodies for you to pamper yourself properly in the countdown to the big day.
Last year, their trio of sustainable and reusable advent calendars was a huge hit, and this year, they're just as great (if not better). One of the best gift ideas 2022. This year's lineup is inspired by The Body Shop's Community Fair Trade programme, with each calendar celebrating the women who help produce the ingredients found in their products. Expect to indulge in the brand's best-selling goodies as well as new releases and even a few exclusives. Our personal favs include the Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, Tea Tree Face Wash, Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask and the Vitamin E Hydrating Toner. Plus, you'll get a healthy mix of full-sized and travel-sized products – perfect to throw in your beauty bag for any upcoming holidays.
And can we just appreciate the packaging? I mean, wow. Each calendar includes a beautiful and removable pop-up construction that transports you to the different parts of the world and celebrates the women that make The Body Shop products possible. The box is also sturdy enough to be reused all year round for storage.
The best part? Two of the three advent calendars are already available online, and the third one is about to launch later in September (the 20th to be exact). If you're just as excited as we are for The Body Shop advent calendars 2022 – by all means shop away, there's really no need to put it off until late October or November as they're very likely to sell out by that time. Just keep in mind that each calendar is also capped at one per person (which is fair, if you ask us), so if you weren’t in a hurry to snap one up before you definitely will be now.

Why we love it: This is the biggest and most expensive calendar that The Body Shop has to offer, and considering that you'll get £219 worth of products for £145, we'd say it's definitely worth the price. It packs 25 skincare, haircare and bath goodies, 19 of which are full-sized (yep, your eyes are not deceiving you, it's 19). You'll find a good mix of bestsellers, including the Camomile Sumptious Cleansing Butter (which, by the way, is a firm favourite in the GLAMOUR office) as well as new releases such as the Edelweiss Liquid Peel and an exclusive product that you can only get with the advent calendar – the Pink Clay Facial Konjac Sponge.
