‘Does Taylor Swift have a favourite perfume?’ is a question that has been following the Anti-Hero singer for years. While we've all fallen under the spell of Taylor's signature red lip, her go-to fragrance remains shrouded in mystery, leaving us to wonder exactly what she smells like on a date night with Travis Kelce.

Perhaps a chronological recap of what the singer has said about her perfume preferences throughout the years may help.
When interviewed by David Letterman in 2010, the host observed that Taylor Swift smelled like "luxury wood." Although we don't know exactly what perfume she wore on the show, judging by this comment it is likely that the singer was leaning towards warm and spicy fragrances at the time.
More intel came via the Netflix documentary Miss Americana. In one clip, backstage at the 2018 Reputation Tour, a bottle of Santal Blush by Tom Ford can be seen – a warm, woody fragrance infused with soft florals, spices and creamy sandalwood.
However, some fans agree that she may also be addicted to Viktor & Rolf 's Flowerbomb, which captures her passion for warm scents with its floral base of jasmine and rose.
Another clue to Taylor's perfume personality may come from the five fragrances (now sadly discontinued) that she launched with Elizabeth Arden between 2011 and 2014: Wonderstruck, Wonderstruck Enchanted, Taylor, Made of Starlight, and Incredible Things.
Wonderstruck, dedicated to the incurable romantic, is a floral scent where freesia lies on a bed of peach and sandalwood.
Wonderstruck Enchanted debuted soon after and continued the sweet, floral theme with vanilla base notes.
During the Red Era, in 2013, she debuted Taylor, her third fragrance by Elizabeth Arden, a sweet and sophisticated mix of floral and citrus ingredients such as lychee and mandarin.
Today Burberry For Women, with its blend of irresistibly juicy pear, peach and apricot, alongside jasmine and musk, would come very close to the star's eponymous fragrance.
Made of Starlight was released in early 2014 as a special edition. Although it mirrored the retro packaging and was laced with similar floral and fruity notes, it was a noticeably lighter scent with apricot, passion fruit and tangerine.
Narciso Rodriguez For Her contains similar notes, which opens with a peach and rose bouquet, softened by amber and warm musk, before the grounding patchouli and sandalwood dry down kicks in.
Finally, Taylor's Incredible Things, a floral and woody scent with base notes of creamy musk, vanilla, and white amber, hit the shelves in 2014 during her 1989 Era. If her past fragrances represented love, the singer herself revealed in a clip that this one specifically represents the essence of life.
It's fair to say that over the years, Taylor Swift has changed her scent choices from fresh flower bouquets to those undercut by musk and vanilla. But one thing we can agree on is that the sweet smell of success seems to follow her around – something she clearly shares with Superbowl legend Travis.
