I’ve been on the hunt for a reliable Swyft sofa review ever since I moved to the UK. After navigating the whirlwind of moving to a new country, finding a flat, meeting new flatmates, and starting a new job, the last thing I wanted was for sofa shopping to become yet another stressor.

Offering buyers checkout-to-door delivery within 48 hours, along with a no-tools-required assembly system, Swyft is the Gen-Z of the furniture world and it'll leave you wondering why you ever spent 24 hours assembling a flatpack click-clack sofa bed.

While flatpack furniture isn’t new, in recent years, a new wave of online furniture stores has emerged, offering more stylish options than you might expect from something that comes in a box. There are obvious practicalities to flatpack furniture. It’s ideal for smaller spaces or those who move frequently. However, these pieces can often feel like a compromise compared to pre-assembled alternatives — and they require time and patience to put together.

Not with Swyft, though. Setting itself apart from many long-established sofa brands, Swyft’s standout pieces feature a unique assembly system where the sections simply slot together — no tools required. Since its launch, the brand has expanded its range to include 11 stylish sofa models, four sofa bed styles, matching armchairs, loveseats, ottomans, and even a couple of bed frames.

So, for the past three months, I've been testing the Model 06 3-Seater Right Chaise Sofa in my busy London shared flat to see if it's worth the hype and the price tag. I've noted down every factor, from comfort and design to the set-up. So, here's my honest review.

Model 06 3 Seater Right Chaise Sofa

Swyft Model 06 first impressions

I chose the Swyft Model 06 in bone velvet, a 3-seater right chaise sofa, which created a welcoming L-shaped seating area in my flat. Once the order was placed, the home customer service team kept me updated at every step of the delivery process, and the night before, they contacted me with my delivery window. From checkout to delivery, it took no more than 48 hours!

When the sofa arrived, it came in compact boxes, separated into base modules, backrests, back cushions, and arm and seat cushions. The boxes were no more than 30cm deep, so they fit easily through my front door and narrow halls with no issues.

I honestly wouldn't have guessed that the entire sofa was in those boxes if I hadn’t arranged it myself. I had re-arranged my furniture, recalling past delivery frustrations with failed attempts and wall scuffs, but it turns out I didn’t need to do any of that!

Also, if you have a small recycling bin, it’s a huge bonus that the delivery team will unbox your sofa and take away the packaging. While I didn’t opt for this service, it definitely gave me peace of mind knowing it was available.

GLAMOUR road test: assembly, comfort and design

As for assembly, the sofa arrived in modular parts, and thanks to Swyft's genius no-tools-required system, everything simply clicks together — almost like magic. No word of a lie, it took less time to put together than it would for me to make a Nespresso, complete with my signature latte art (still a work in progress). Overall, the delivery and assembly were exactly what you'd expect from a brand called Swyft.

As for the aesthetics? If you’ve ever dreamed of having a home that looks like it belongs on a Pinterest mood board (like I have!), this sofa is your shortcut to making that a reality. To quote my flatmate, "Our lounge has officially been levelled up; it looks like a completely different space!" The timeless design will fit effortlessly into any room, whether your style is eclectic, modern, or somewhere in between.

This sofa strikes the perfect balance between structured, soft cushions you can melt into, and clean lines that keep it looking both refined and inviting. With over 25 colour options to choose from, you can easily find one that complements your space. I went with a neutral shade to have fun switching up throw pillows, blankets, and statement decor, but the bolder colours are perfect if you’re feeling adventurous and want to make a statement in a maximalist space.

Our Swyft sofa review verdict

I’ve had my Swyft sofa for over three months now, and I honestly couldn’t be more impressed. The cushions — despite not being feather-filled — haven’t deflated at all, spills roll off the fabric better than my high-tech waterproof jacket, and the vacuum picks up dust and lint with ease.

I have no doubt that in the future, as I move into bigger apartments or properties, I’ll be eager to add more pieces from the brand. Admittedly, I do wish the prices were more in line with the average young professional salary, but I’ll give the brand credit for designing furniture that’s meant to replace your old sofa or bed for good. Plus, with a 15-year frame guarantee and a 100-day trial period to decide whether to keep, return, or exchange the product, you have the peace of mind knowing the brand stands behind its quality.
