Stray Kids have officially landed in Chicago for Lollapalooza 2024, and group member Hyunjin has made sure to bring a touch of grunge with him to the windy city.
On August 1, 2024, Hyunjin took to Instagram to post his first photo dump from Chicago, showing off his OOTD for a day of wandering and shopping around the city. What was the pièce de résistance in his 'fit, you might be wondering? A grunge take on the divisive culottes trend.
No stranger to a killer outfit formula, Hyunjin based his most recent ensemble around a pair of distressed black jean culottes, or jorts, which tapered nicely around his waist and extended into a nice subtle flare just below his knees for a nu-metal take on the trend celebs and fashion editors alike have been embracing all summer.

Hyunjin rounded off his 'fit with a pair of penny loafers and black calf socks and added a bunch of accessories to make the formula even edgier. As a loyal brand ambassador, the star wore a pair of Versace sunglasses in black acetate and silver Medusa hardware detailing on the side. He also added a black crocheted beanie as well as an array of silver rings and necklaces and some beaded bracelets.
Hyunjin also gave us a lesson in top layering with his casual look, wearing a loose graphic tank top over a tight black tank underneath for added contrast and an extra sweat-proof layer to keep cool while roaming around.
He also wore a sling bag on one shoulder and carried an extra checkered button-up for a potential coverup in case the temperature dropped. Forewarned is forearmed!
