We’ve long been fans of Sézane’s perfect Parisian style and stan Sea NY’s downtime bohemianism… So when we heard about the Sézane x Sea NY collaboration, we knew it would be a match made in high fashion heaven. Although it’s not the first time the labels have worked together – the two brands teamed up four years ago – we’re thrilled there is a transatlantic reunion.
Guaranteed a spot on every fashion editor’s shopping wishlist, Sézane was born in Paris and inspired by founder Morgane Sezalory’s love of vintage clothing. Sézane hits the sweet spot of affordability, aspiration, timelessness and contemporary styling. It’s also a seriously sustainable label with independent verification to support their production methods. Morgane started small, under the name ‘Les Composantes’ and would re-work vintage pieces and sell them in monthly drops, quickly becoming the go-to fashion vendor for the chicest Parisiennes. Today, the brand has exploded and even the Princess of Wales has fallen for its high quality designs.

Meanwhile in NY, longterm friends and collaborators Monica Paolini and Sean Monahan mix downtown vibes with hyper-femininity. They’re the go-to for international influencers keen to get a little cottagecore cool into their lewks… The first Sézane x Sea NY collaboration drop landed on February 5th and was a speedy sell-out, although another collection has just arrived. Relieved is putting it mildly.
The Emilia print, an intricate rich pink design was a sell-out from collection #1 but Morgane revealed some of her favourite pieces are in a new print… “I love… the small navy flowers that comes on iconic Sézane styles, like the Chloé shirt, the Alicia skirt and the Lilith dress that has a strong vintage cut.”
Basically, we’re drooling. And if you want some inspiration of how to wear the Sézane x Sea NY collaboration? The prints look brilliant mixed with love-worn denim and ecru jeans or midi-skirts while the dresses just need tough boots as an accompaniment.
