If there's one lesson we learn over and over, it is that female friendship is one of the most precious things. And Selena Gomez and Nicola Peltz are stepping out and starting 2023 off by giving us inspiration with ultimate bestie goals – a group hug pic posted from what looks suspiciously like a private yacht – we're not jealous at all.
Gomez posted the group hug pic, which also features Nicola's husband Brooklyn Beckham as part of the iconic cuddle, with the caption: “Fine calls us a throuple #foreverplusone”. Peltz commented with one word: “Facts”.

6th November: The pair's friendship first came to light back in early November when they celebrated the release of Selena's documentary My Mind and Me with a cute sleepover. Transformers actress Nicola shared a series of pictures from the night which saw the pair and their company wearing frilly pink satin pyjamas. Nicola's husband Brooklyn Beckham was also seen serving up drinks for the fun night in.
“Girls night celebrating your beautiful documentary congratulations selena! 💕🍨🍝🍰🫧🥂 (thanks b for the best food everrrrr🤤)” Nicola sweetly captioned the post.
November 24: Nicola was seen hugging Selena in her first-ever TikTok. "Favourite people 🤍," she captioned the short video. Nicola's brother Brad and her husband Brooklyn were also featured in the clip.

January 2: Selena Gomez and Nicola Peltz Beckham seemed to seal their newfound friendship in style, spending New Years together on a trip to Los Cabos, a Mexican beach resort. On NYE Peltz and Gomez wore matching angel-inspired, sparkly Valentino dresses, as well as identical pairs of clear platform heels.
Gomez described that she “felt like a fairy” in the dress, and we think it's the perfect vibe for her and her new best pal. Peltz commented on the post: "I love you my angel forever!!!". Adorable.

The duo also seem to have taken things to the next level and got matching tattoos, the ultimate BFF branding – Gomez posted pictures of both hers and Peltz's forearms, which had "angel” inked in a cursive font.
This wasn't the only time the best pals co-ordinated – they sported matching white bikinis and hoop earrings during their time on the boat as well, according to Gomez's Insta dump.

January 8: The day before Nicola's 28th birthday, Selena shared a sweet snap of her and her little sister kissing the actress on the cheek. “It’s not your bday yet but let’s celebrate NOW!” she wrote in the caption. Nicola delightedly commented underneath: “Omg my sisters!! 💖💖💖.”

January 11: Despite not winning the Golden Globe for Only Murders In The Building, Nicola went on to celebrate Selena's nomination with a picture of them pulling funny faces. “Celebrating our golden globe girlie 🎂💝 so proud of you @selenagomez I love you so much!” she captioned it.
