Around the same time Selena Gomez shut down TikTok rumours of beef between her and Kylie Jenner, she appeared to add fuel to those Hailey Bieber “feud” conspiracies.
Let's back up. On 23 February, Glamour reported that there is no beef between the Rare Beauty and the Kylie Cosmetics moguls after Jenner was dragged into ongoing fan wars surrounding Gomez and Bieber. The supposed drama between the pop star and model dates back to 2018, when Justin Bieber proposed to Hailey six months after his final breakup with on-and-off girlfriend Gomez, leading to allegations that Hailey “stole” the “Baby” singer, blah, blah, blah.
Since then, fans have found any excuse to “prove” Gomez and Bieber are at odds, no matter what either one of them does to shut down the online hate. This time, one TikTok user suggested Jenner and Bieber threw shade at Gomez on Instagram Stories over a recent laminated brow-related “accident.”

“This is reaching,” Jenner replied to the video directly on February 22. “No shade towards Selena ever and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts! U guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly.”
Selena clearly agreed, replying, “It’s all unnecessary. I’m a fan of Kylie!”
However, another TikTok comment from Gomez could undo any progress made by her cordial response to Jenner. On February 23, Gomez responded to a resurfaced video from 2017, in which Bieber made a gagging motion when Taylor Swift was mentioned during the televised rap battle Drop the Mic.
“So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game,” Gomez replied to the TikTok post, which described Bieber as a “mean girl” and a “bully.”
Selena then said the following when she went live after the comments: “I'm very happy, I'm so blessed, I have the best friends, the best fans in the whole world and I just couldn't be happier. I'm good. I love the way I am I don't care, I'm big, I'm not, I don't care. I love who I am. And yeah, I'm gonna be taking a second from social media, because this is a little silly. And I'm 30, I'm too old for this, so...but I love you guys so much! And I will see you guys sooner than later, I just... I'm just gonna just take a break from everything.”
Since then, Selena has deleted her TikTok, but as of now her Instagram is still up.
