It's another day and another slay from Saweetie in the hair department. Days after having a fringe that almost looked like baby bangs, the My Type rapper switched it up on us once again. I swear her new mint green buns and bangs make her look like the coolest cartoon character.
She shared a few photos of her leather outfit and pastel hair, giving us views from different angles, on April 31. In the first picture, you see a side view of this hairstyle I can't even give a name; it's not quite a pigtail nor a full bun — it looks like someone was creating a bun but then stopped halfway. The result, however, gave her hair a ton of volume and a unique fanned-out shape, especially from the front, which you can see on the fourth slide.
From the front, you can also see that this hair was given a deep side parting. Shorter tendrils of hair were left out around her temples. Her wispy fringe was curled, giving it some height and body, with the ends covering most of her arched brows.

She paired the new hair with her signature makeup look – a neutral cut crease, sharp cat eye, dramatic falsies, glossy lips, and tons of highlighter. Her highlight gleamed so brightly that you can see it from far away, as shown in the eighth and ninth photos where Saweetie poses in a car.
Knowing Saweetie, she has already moved on to a new hairstyle, and I wouldn't be surprised if she has the photos prepared for the next Instagram reveal. Her past few hair colours have featured a range of more natural-looking colours such as black and blonde, but that hasn't kept her from experimenting with multicolored looks, like her pastel pink Coachella hair. My best guess is that she's going to try a completely different hair colour, like bright orange or fiery red, next.
