With the Arctic Monkeys clad in red leather trousers sitting in the front row sipping Laurent Perrier, we knew that the Saint Laurent show was still one of the hot tickets for Paris Fashion Week.
The clothes rung true of a Hedi Slimane aesthetic with skinny slim-fit clothes, skimpy mini skirts and cute shaped peacoats, but there seems to be a strong trend this season for the cape and Saint Laurent showcased a few simple shaped ones, in particular a gorgeous black velvet one.
Clothes were layered with white shirts and black ribbon neck ties and sharp tailored tweed pieces were also scattered throughout. But the Saint Laurent girl also showed off a more feminine side with sequin and glitter mini dresses all styled with thick black tights and knee-high boots or a simple glittered Mary Jane style flat.
There was an array of boots and surely every stylish girl in town will find a pair to suit them, be it patent, studded, heavily embellished and silver for the rock 'n' roller's out there!
Altogether, the collection was strong but girly and I'm sure this will be another sell out collection of must-have pieces.
