Leave it to Sabrina Carpenter to close out her year with a starry variety show, while referencing one of the festive season's most iconic pop culture moments.

You know we're counting down to Christmas when Mariah Carey comes on the radio, everyone suddenly takes a fancy to red and, of course, someone reenacts that iconic “Jingle Bell Rock” scene in Mean Girls.

This year, it's our hitmaker of 2024 Sabrina Carpenter who embodies North Shore High's queen bee Regina George, donning the figure-hugging sexy Santa look from one of the most iconic teen movies of the 2000s.

While teasing her upcoming Netflix special A Nonsense Christmas which comes out on Dec 6, the “Espresso” singer posted on Instagram wearing a sculpted mini red dress and fuzzy black boots with matching wrist cuffs. Sabrina finished off the look with her signature flirty cat-eye make up and flushed “jelly pink” cheeks. Isn't that sweet? We know so.

What we love about Sabrina's take on the costume is that it's actually quite easily recreated for your upcoming holiday parties with a red bodice or mini dress, some black patent boots and just a sprinkle of faux shearling that can be found at a party store.

Just as Regina George and The Plastics wore the sexy ensemble to a talent show, Sabrina is hosting one of her own. The holiday special promises Sabrina's performances of her holiday EP “Fruitcake” amongst other covers of holiday hits, as well as guest appearances of famous guests including: Chappell Roan, Tyla, Shania Twain, and Kali Uchis, Nico Hiraga, Quinta Brunson, Cara Delevingne, Kyle Mooney, Megan Stalter, Sean Astin, Owen Thiele, and Jillian Bell.

It's time to break out the cookies and espresso. As one of Sabrina Carpenter's followers said: “SC is coming to town, and we're not talking about Santa.”
