Ryan Reynolds has officially confirmed that his fourth child with Blake Lively has arrived – and the best part? He delivered the news in the most low key way ever.
When announcing the premiere of his Bedtime Stories series, Ryan subtly added that he came up with the idea for the show on the same day his fourth child was born. Adorable.
He tweeted: “The idea for a show made to help everyone fall asleep was born the same day as my fourth child”. With four children, we're sure that Ryan and Blake could use all the help (and sleep) they can get!

Having gone from dad of three to dad of four, Ryan's certainly got the dad jokes to prove it as well. The 46-year-old actor, husband of Blake Lively, 35, spoke to ET Canada on the red carpet at the Canadian Screen Awards last week about the shockingly seamless transition from a family of five to a family of six.
When asked about his family, Reynolds started with the ultimate dad joke. “I haven’t met any of them yet, but they seem great,” he said. “They have a private Instagram account that I follow.”

But then he got a little serious, adding that the recent expansion to his family hasn't been as difficult as expected. “You know, two to three was a huge jump…three to four less so,” he said. “I cannot speak for my wife, but it’s just from what I’ve observed. But we love it. You know, we would be idiots to do this again if we didn’t love it.”
Reynolds also told ET Canada that both he and Lively have always wanted a large family, having come from larger families themselves. “Yeah, I come from four; Blake comes from five,” he said. “Both of us are the youngest.”
Lively appeared to deliver the news of the birth of the couple's fourth child on Super Bowl Sunday in February, via an Instagram post that revealed her baby bump was gone. “Puppy Bowl Sunday 2023🥘 🍲 🥧 been busy,” she wrote in the caption.

Ryan Reynolds and Lively have not shared the name or gender of their fourth child. Their first three children, all daughters, are James, eight, Inez, six, and Betty, three. In February, a source told People that the couple are happy following the birth of their fourth kid and that their other children are adjusting well to the new addition. “Blake and Ryan are amazing together,” the source said. “Ryan is a great dad. He is very sweet to Blake. They are very excited about the new baby. The older siblings have adjusted great.”
