Rihanna has never been one to shy away from a drastic hair change. Neon-green highlights, pixies, raccoon hair — you name it, she's probably tried it and done it well, too. Since the launch of her lingerie brand, Savage x Fenty, she's revealed these avant-garde styles in ads versus giving them a tour on the streets, during Fashion Weeks, or in music videos. The latest hairstyle she's blessing fans with is an edgy two-toned mullet with rose-pink ends.
If you're a fan of the "Work" singer, you know this is not the first or even second time she's worn a mullet. In the video, Riri poses in a two-piece lingerie set from her brand with hot-pink heels and silver jewellery. The front pieces of the mullet are a dark brown shade that part down the middle and fall right above her eyebrows. The brown colour transitions into longer, light-pink strands of hair that reach mid-way down her chest. The tousled pink hair has slight waves versus the straighter pieces around her forehead.
She shared the post on Instagram, captioning it, “when you don’t need a valentine but preparing for one anyway.” Amen.

The pastel hair fits the ad's Valentine's Day theme well, as the couch is also a light-pink hue and her lingerie set has pink elements, too. Her edgy hair even matches the metallic rose-gold polish on her long nails that are visible for a few seconds if you pay veeeery close attention.
Leave it to Rihanna to continue to leave us awestruck with every beauty transformation she does. She is a trendsetter, after all. So with each new picture or video, we're delighted to see what she's going to try next. The year has only begun, but we have a good feeling that this is just the beginning of the experimental looks we will be seeing.
