Next month it's Radio 1's Big Weekend, and this year's music extravaganza in Glasgow is set to be better than ever! Today, Nick Grimshaw revealed the news that One Direction would be headlining over the two day music event.
As well as the 1D boys, Katy Perry, Coldplay, Kings of Leon and Ed Sheeran have all been confirmed to perform. If that's not enough for you, Lily Allen, Bastille, Rita Ora, Tinie Tempah, Jake Bugg, Pharrell, John Newman and The Vamps are also among the latest names to be announced for the event, taking place at Glasgow Green from May 24-25.
Kasabian will top the bill on the In New Music We Trust Stage, which will reveal its full lineup during Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show from 7pm tonight.
